Which Sensi Star?

Ok so I've found 4 packs of Sensi Star......is there a clear winner out of these 4? Sensi Seeds / White Label / Black Label / Paradise Seeds.

Anyone grown more than one of these out???

I cannot say really...

But I've always had a good feeling for this strain.

I would also be interested in knowing how fast these plants flower and how well they do outdoors. Im at 60 degrees North..

How does it handle cold and damp weather? Any guesses?

Sorry for the off-topic question but somebody could probably shed some light on this question as well.

never had it, but i heard paradise was the best. just like dj blueberry is for blueberry. they originally made it. and i think you got a 3:1 there...isnt white/black label part of sensi?

yes i believe white/black is a part of sensi seeds. i was confused because all the descriptions said "99 highlife cup winner" but i don't know which one was entered

It was paradises' that was entered.

As far as I'm concerned there is only ONE sensi star. The rest of them are just cashing in on the name. :fsu:

Reeferman's new strain Super Star is a Sensi Star cross, I think I would prolly go for that one ust cause it's something different from what everyone else's got. :wink:

mine are from paradise. i bought them from gypsy about 4 months ago. i did a ton of reading and these were the ones to get. i'll see if i can upload some pics, my ip usually f's with me when i try to load for some reason.

they are VERY nice and healthy plants. nice big indica leaves. they are short but i tied them down and so have multiple tops.

they go into flower tomorrow. i can't wait to taste them.

Paradise Seeds is Paradise Seeds.

White Label Seeds is the sister company of Sensi Seeds.

Black Label Seeds is a sister company of High Quality Seeds.

Both White Label and Black Label Seeds are co-operative companies that stock seed from the original breeders / base of genetics... (let's remember that Mr Dronkers owns/houses a large collection of the original 'Dutch' breeding stock)...

A quick look at both catalogues reveals the other breeders/genetics involved -

Master Kush [Arjan to Dronkers]

Neville's Haze [Nevil to Arjan/Dronkers]

Holland's Hope [Positronics to HGF/Nirvana/Dronkers]

and so on...

Neither BLS or WLS hold a breeding facility as such,,, but the castle has, in the past, allowed breeders to work closely with both companies (on a freelance basis). Many 'cup-winning' genetics where then bought-in to form both seed bank menus respectively.

In 1999 Sensi Star was the hottest thing in town,,, everyone wanted to make fire from it!

Paradise have struggled with breeding facilities in the past, so perhaps the genetics were spread out to others as an insurance policy :wink:

Sensi Star [Paradise Seeds] has since won the HLCC under the name 'X-Factor'...lol

In other words, the product is often more important than the name!

howdy.

hope you don't mind but just to add to the sensi star info, here are a few pics from 50 days in flower. these are from paradise seeds.

i'm cutting one or more tonight at 54 days. the trichs are about 3/4 cloudy and 1/4 clear. i'm experimenting with when to cut them as this is a new genetic.

they are a medium size plant and i have tied them down (as much as you can tie down indica dom plants :) ) so they would have been taller. they are in 2 gall grow bags.

i cut a couple buds last night. very sticky. like touching honey. lots of trichs.

taste test in a few days. or maybe tomorrow. lol
