Which lights to use???

I heard that using HPS and a MH light together during veg and flowering is better than using MH for veg and HPS for flowering. I am going to be using a revolving light mover in a 8x10 room. Any opinions?

I would agree. Mixed lightin is definately where it is at. Dual spectrum here, 2x600 my plants love it. Havent seen this type of growth before : )

Putting the 2 together would add more wattage to your growroom. It is recomended to use MH for vegging and HPS for flowering because of the spectrums they give off.

I have to agree,but dual fixtures is all I have experience in,not revolving them around.My 800 watt combo I've used in veg and flower and is every bit as good if not better than my 1K vertizontals

I guess what I really want to know is should I buy the changable lights and use 2 1000W MH for flower and then change to 2 1000W HPS or should I just used one of each during both veg and flower stages?

What you're gonna have to do with that one is experiment and see which works best for your particular strain/environment.I personally would go with a mixed spectrum for both veg and flower,my 800 watt combo which is now a permanent veg fixture really is great,sunsystems has large,cool running fixtures for sure.I say I would use dual spectrum because I love the results from it both in veg and flower,you may find straight MH for veg and HPS for flower to be more to your liking.I know its difficult/time comsuming to compare and you really cant do a side by side in this case,so you'll have to wing it.I think if you started with a mixed spectrum for both phases you'd just say screw it I aint doin no better than this!
