Which grow tent and ventilation help

Hey!

Going to start a 600w SOG grow and I could use some help on picking my tent and ventilation as I will have separate fan for cool tube and filter.

My limitation is my height only 4.19'.

I can have:

Dr90 twin: (with top taken off) 3x3x4.9.Has enought holes (3 at top) for my ventilation With this option I would have to cut tent poles for 0.9'.I've read that people do it and collect the excess so it isn't baggy.I could have 36 plants.

Lighthouse hydro grow tent: 4x2x4. This would fit but don't know if they are good quality. I would have to cut another hole for my fan with filter as it only has 2 at the top and put a flange in it. Also would the 600w cover 4x2 place?I could have 32 plants.

Ventilation:

I already have a rhino filter and a [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]S&P TD-160/100 N SILENT,106CFM(high) or 82CFM(low).

What CFM fan will I need to separately cool my 600w in cool tube? It would be just a straight tube throught the tent.

I will not grow in summer and the room temps will be from 73.4 to 68.

Hope it isn't too much to read :) Hope to get some help!
Thank you!

IMO first fuck a cool tube unless u got it already they really suck... Get a square reflector some are very low profile I think my magnums are only like 9 10 in tall and they 8 in so I assume 6 in is even thinner... They may even have sumthin even better for a 3x3... Get yaself 6 in can fan and u will have no temp issues... Add a clip on fan or 2 and ur set..as far as tents go with the 3x3 can hit a lb with some practice...l 4x2 won't be newhere near as productive...600s are ment for a 3x3 footprint...

i have a 3x3 tent and am looking to go over to a cool tube from a 6" hood.

airflow is tight and at this point ever inch counts.

you can use a simple 100cfm-200cfm booster fan that costs $25-$50 for cooling airflow of a single 600w light.

I wouldn't recommend a booster fan wants to hook up the ducting they suck ass cause they don't deal with pressure loss is very good. a good four inch 26 inch inline centrifugal fan should do the trick

Gonna stick with 3x3 tent and lower the height. With the 4x2 the plants in the corner would probably not get enough light. Thanks stoney917.

I would like to stick with the 2 fans because both running will be quieter than 1 big 6' fan and when lights will be off the 4' s&p won't be audiable at all.

I was thinking of what jayjayfrank said, a simple 5' fan 108 CFM for 25$. (picture added)

I know booster fans suck when it comes to dealing with pressure but it would only be used in straight 3 feet ducting+cool tube.So it would take less then a second from air to come from start to end.

My logical thinking is that that should be enough to keep the bulb cool = no massive heat in tent and 4' s&p with filter would be enough to ventilate the box.
But there again I never used a 600w so I have no idea how hot they get.

Anyone out there cooling their 600w in cool tube separately?

I say it's better to be safe than sorry.Get another s&p for cooling the light.

Also why not build your own tent when you need a custom height?

A single TD100x will be enough to cool your light and scrub your grow in a tent that small. If you are getting a new fan, get a TD125.

thanks to everyone for advices. First I'm going to buy the cheap inline fan and if that doesn't work I will upgrade to a 125 rvk or s&p.

Thanks again!
