Which Blockhead Pheno?

Im about to pop some BH beans and this is my first grow of this strain. I remember a post in OG that discussed the various BH phenos. I'm looking for the "killer" pheno and how to identify.

Can anyone out there point me in the right direction?

My fav. BH pheno is def. the more purpleish/blueberry one....It stays real short, and has massive wide leaves...is an "extreme indica", and it def has one of the biggest calyx to leaf ratios that I have ever seen.

Here is a pic or two of my MTF x BH....this one is just like the one I just described except a bit more sativaish due to the MTF influence.

Note the massive size on that cola....thats the BH influence right there.

check out growshop alien, they stock SOL gear still and have the pics of that killer, phat, chunky colored up pheno of which you speak. Take a look....

mhm if you want the some grapey smoke go with the green/grapefruit pheno , the red/blue pheno is more like citrus/lemon and exhibit some very nice red/blue hues when getting overripe
IME the blueish pheno is the bigger yielder of the both phenos i found...
They like to get FIMmed @ week 6 in veg to produce a maximum amount of clones.
Give them @ least 4-5 weeks veg as BH dont stretches very much @ all after flipping 12/12 to get maximum yield, topping is a good idea though

When people ask whats the best pheno I have to say smoke'em and find out what you like best. Weigh them to find out the biggest yeilder. All this identifying is good but all plants are different even amounst the same pheno type. And you gotta keep clones of them all until a selection is made.

plan on cloning a few from each/any female you get
...decide on the true keepers for "YOU" once gen 1 is being smoked up

excellent advice shmokin...the truth is in the final product. Always save clones of each pheno until the best are identified, sometimes you don't even know how good it is until the 2nd run.

the pheno above Barely missed the cut going into flower...it looked like a total runt, but I spared it, and after a few weeks of flower u could tell she was special.

I have clones of course, and I'm harvesting the re-vegged mom today....this is the 2nd time.

I havent planted my BH seeds due to reading that although they are indy, they have strong psych effects, and to me that stops em being indy. But if that doesn't matter, then the pics look like they are really nice plants.

grow 'em out bro..you wont be dis-apointed.

BH is kind of an odd ball strain (one of my top 3 fav's regardless)

It IS really strong

It IS predominantly indica

The "general" high is and Indica couchlock/headlock like no other

...BUT...it's that "mysterious" African Sativa mommy that takes your head for a ride at the same time.

i remember reading a very thorough OG thread on the different phenos. I knew there was a "killer" pheno. I suspect will just have to grow the stuff out and smoke each pheno and decide for myself. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

the grape pheno is def the one to go if ya want a heavy yielder and a big stinker ... will plant 25-30 Blockhead´s under the 600watter ... :
I´m pretty sure ill get that damn 1 gram per watt without a problem ....
not nessesary to say that the stone is very heavy,nice couchlock and a good brain massage to round it up...
