Which Air Tube?

Hi Folks,
I have found my current air tubing to be pretty shit at remaining pliable. After just a few months, the tubing just slips off the fittings and remains in the stretched shape.
The tubing on offer is available in:
PVC, Polyurethane, Silicon & Nylon.
Before I buy a roll of tubing I would like to hear from you experienced guys, just which material I should choose.

I like to use soft dripper tubing. It lasts much longer. the 4mmID flexible dripper tubing works great.

I wouldn't use the PVC as it will contain softeners which are the culprit in PVC offgassing.
