Everyone has to have a dream of a place to run away. A place where the weather is beautiful, the scenery is the best, perhaps a place where the girls are young and plentiful? My dream is the retire in Costa Rica very soon. Pot is still illegal there, if you can even find a cope. Sativas grow well there, and there is plenty of secluded and affordable plots of land to buy... Especially in the country and away from the beaches. Big pounding surf, beatiful girls, the dollar goes far, and it is a rocking place. A guy could retire well over there, and before he is even 50, and have a girl friend that is n her 20s.

Belize is where it's at. Marijuana is virtually ignored, the American dollar is worth two Belizean dollars, goods cost about 25% of what they do here (still the most expensive Central American country), rich soil, Mayan ruins, wonderful climate, the only Central American country without Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), and protected by the British military from the ever-present threat of a Guatemalan invasion.

I've been thinking about the same thing, though. after I get my degree I can go pretty much anywhere in the world to work with computers, but have not decided where yet. australia, spain, and a couple other european countries are on the list of possibilities

The crime rate in Belize and even Costa Rica is pretty high for property crime. Costa Rica has all these duties for anything brought into the country (computers and TV, cars) that is like 100%. I guess you just have to give that kind of stuff up in Central America. One good thing is America is pretty close, so if you need to go the USA really quick you can.

If you need to do some USA business it is good to be close. Some of those USA ties last forever. Family for instance

My own tropical island, at least a few hundred sq miles, with a few dozen chicks that are all hot in all possible ways that just cant get enough of me, all modern amenities, weed growing in almost every direction you look, alot of alcohol, basically my own heavenly country. So where is that? Hell if I know!
