Where to find tubing/hose/dryer duct?

Where can I buy tubing/hose/dryer duct? My goal is to place my small home made carbon scrubber at the top of my cab to take the hot down and out to the bottom. I'll use a 3 inch PC fan to pull through the scrubber and send down the tube, and out the bottom of the cab. I'd prefer to have the tube be plastic instead of metal, and the 3 inch size or smaller. I know home depot has the typical 4 inch metal tubing....any ideas for my needs?

Don't think I saw anything in that section, except a few hoses that were way too small. I looked at Fry's electroncis too....nada.

Does it have to be flexible? PVC and uPVC pipe can be found in plumbing in 2,3 and 4 inch diameters.

Hmm...guess it doesn't...good idea! Guess my mind was way too single tracked to think of that. Thanks!

I guess my fan is actually 92MM, so that's 3.62 inches. Would my fan still work as well as its gonna work if I use a 2 inch or 3 inch pipe? Or does a fan have issues when you go with smaller tubing? My fan is 45 CFM, btw.

Any restriction will reduce airflow. Decreased diameters, filters, ducting, lack of intake can all produce restrictions. Especially with axial fans with little ability to handle static pressure.

Try reading through Ventilation 101 I admit some of it makes my brain hurt but, it's a thread everyone should read at least once.
