Hi, Ive just heard that a friend of mine who just visited the Amster-playpen, bought hash in the streets, much cheaper than the coffeeshops.

I supply a pal with prescr., Cheap oil, so *I need more hash\pot than its economically logic to buy from the coff.shops.
I was wondering if someone knew where to go in Amster if U want more than the amount they can sell u?

We are tied to a wheelchair, so we like cant wonder around searching for dealers..
:thank you:

go to spain, or even morrocco, instead !!! a lot better prices...

otherwise if you have nobody to help you out there it seems pretty hard to me... black market is not easy to get in, especially if you stay just a few and are in a wheelchair...

best of luck !

coffee shops are a relatively safe venue as long as you keep your eye on the mook running the scale, but once you take your biz out into the streets it's just asking for trouble. last visit, my brother went in search of opium and some character in a long trench coat fixed him right up. imo, it did not even look like opium. lol.

please be careful when attempting to purchase "anything" on the streets... there's plenty of rip off merchants here mate.. that said, some of those guys do have real products, just saying some do not and are scammers....so beware!

best of luck :)

Why to buy on streets when you can buy safely in coffeeshops? Plus you will have much more choice.

its simple. the inner city coffee shops will always rip you off. popular shops like babbas, the grasshopper, shibas, etc. will jack there prices up because they are next to all the other tourist shops everyone wants to go to. and they are famous coffee shops.

go about a mile or less out of the inner city and you'll instantly notice prices drop a lot! the coffee shops are everywhere so dont worry about not being able to find one. me and my buddy got super high and tried to find a supermarket because we were poor and had the munchies, i stopped at a turkish coffee shop and got a gram of bubblegum. hands down best weed ive ever smoked, and some of the cheapest (7 euros for a gram). thats the beauty of legalization, its good everywhere. dont get sucked into an expensive coffee shop. you shouldnt have to spend more than 6 euros a gram for white widdow or 8 euros a gram for other strains.

i saw a gram of some netherweed in teh grasshopper for 15 euros for a gram! can you believe that??? thats about the equivelent of 70$ an eighth in a country where weed is legal

happy travels, i love Amsterdam. beautiful city and great people

that was a year ago. i think prices might have gone up or down from then. if you want the cannabis cup winners, however, you'll have to get it from they're coffee shop. and its generally more but usually great stuff

your rolling now cali-boss but let me give you my view on the grasshopper and i should know too as the last many visits to a'dam, lodging was at the crown plaza right next to grasshopper. my travel pal always shops there cause we are bushed after the flight and it is the closest coffee shop.

the one, real highlight to the grasshopper is this glass enclosed venue where you are literally out on the sidewalk but still inside and supposedly enjoying your coffee and daily smoke. it's all downhill from there. first off, it is extremely expensive especially considering the weed has never been worth a shit irrespective of the brand name, and the hash will get you lit but not near as good as what is found in the rest of the city. and did i say expensive? pass on this joint. peace-biteme

Hi man,

I know exactly what you're saying, but just to let you know it's not legalised in NL, it's decriminalised.

The biggest irony is coffeeshops aren't allowed to buy herbs'n'hash, but are allowed to sell them under decriminalisation.

Peace

2. Popeye (nice staff)
3. Grey Area
4. Rokerij (Leidesplein)

Club Media.....fantastic organic weed. enough of a distance from the seedy, expensive CS area to exclude the usual run of backpackers n tourists.

Why buy in Amsterdam?

Why buy in Amsterdam?

You go to Amsterdam to have fun. But Amsterdam is an expensive city, and if the price of the pot is an issue, don't even go there at all. Someone posted the solution earlier -- go to Morocco. Head up into the Rif mountains and find a nice town where you feel comfortable and happy. All prices for food, accommodation, and cannabis will be vastly cheaper than in Amsterdam. At first, just like anywhere, you will be shown the junkier stuff at tourist prices, but if you hang out for a few weeks and get to know some of the locals, you will soon be finding the good stuff.
Bottom line -- if your budget is less than $100 a day, just forget about Amsterdam.

Have you ever relocated to a country you didn't know before moving in? It's not done easily and is very expensive. You're advising a wheelchair bound person to go find a "town where you will feel comfortable and happy" in the Riff mountains of Morocco?

Yeah well that's just insane.

Well, the wheelchair does add a new element that I am not familiar with. And I don't know the circumstances -- does this person travel alone, or with a companion who is able to assist him to get around? Is this person a seasoned traveler or has he never been outside of Iowa? When I was 19 or 20 I was wandering around in India, Afghanistan, and Nepal on a truly minuscule budget, and I certainly didn't have any reservations anywhere! But we managed just fine.

So, yes, I have very frequently arrived in countries where I had never been before and where I didn't know anyone. And, yes, when you first arrive, it is a bit disorienting. It takes a few days to find the good hotel, the good places to eat, some friendly people -- but I mentioned that. There are friendly people the world over. If you would never dream of going to a country without a tour guide and a hotel reservation, that may be your choice, but plenty of budget travelers like myself love the adventure and don't find it in the least bit insane.

At the very least, I would assume that our wheelchair traveler would travel with a companion. Hey, want a companion? Pay my expenses and I would be glad to act as tour guide and factotum. Actually, my present schedule wouldn't permit such an adventure, but I am sure there are plenty of capable people out there who would be happy to provide assistance. One way or another, of course, the wheelchair traveler is going to have to pay expenses, but that is why I suggest the Rif mountains of Morocco -- food and lodging and travel conveyance will all be cheaper, and the cannabis will be pretty close to free, unless you are the kind of dude who regularly smokes old Northern California hippies under the table.

Well, the wheelchair was an element from post n°1 and this is a post about some guy needing cheap meds in Amsterdam - that's it.
