Where´s the original K2 ?

hej hej folks
i had a clone back in 2000 from a buddy,he told me that it came from Advanced Hydroponics (ferts).
Genetic make up were something like Kush,EarlyPearl,Haze and some NL.

This was best commercial strain i have grown so far and now i cant find any.., only a copy from nirvana and theyre stating that their K2 is a white strain which is completely impossible if they obtained their strain from the original (f2,3,4,etc)
So my q´s are: does anybody kept this strain alive? in clone form or f2s?
If f2´s are floating around i´m willing to trade some of DutchFlowers stock as Venomberry or Ghaze for it.

Seems like the info you stated is all I know of the Orig. K2 as well.

Only thing I could add is doing some reading in a few books a few years ago. I heard referance to the orig. K2 as cheese becuase of its cheese like smell.

Dont know how much truth that is but just what I read in one of the bud books.

I love K2 alot alot! All I have ever grown K2 wise was Nirvavns and found a pheno that was very coffeeish smelling while curing.

Anyways not much help but I'll be following this thread. Id like to know as well!

I actually grew out a cut of K2 from Nirvana that was out of this world.

I remember Tex's review of K2 and I believe he said it was a very potent variety....almost bought it because of his review and I trust his opinions....Nirvana has some good shit, but I feel you have to buy at least 20 seeds of a particular strain to get the keeper mother....doesn't mean Tex did that though!!!

right doc you answered my q , but thats impossible that now K2 is a widdow, when K2 from AH is Kush,EarlyPearl,Haze and NL so guys where is here a white strain or any part of a white strain like N. india or S. Brasil ?
So the only clue is they lost the OriginalK2 and want to continue selling a strain named K2 as it was a bestseller in a´dam when i was with my mom in 2000 when i recall right.
IMHO its the same when i´m stating that i´m selling SuperSilverHaze f2, but its only DP´s version of SuperHaze which is not worthy a buck, its ripping of the consument ..

Cool idea on the project. Might be quite the task not knowing exactly the origins of what Kush, early pearl, NL and haze was used originally. Sounds fun though!

1 thing is sure dont want to use a pure haze and a pure NL, i will replace both with my catpiss SSH (pix in gallery,the 4-some), as she´s stronger than many NL#5/haze ´s that i smoked.
A buddy from me grows sensi´s version for many years now believing its his holy grail . Sound like its time to make some early kush beans for playing
Sidenote:maybe there´s an earlyKush hybrid that fits my balcony-grows
