Where did this one seed come from

After my last crop was harvested & processed, I found one single seed. There may have been more that I missed but couldn't have been very many at all. The stock used were all clones from female plants. I assume that,
1) a lone pollen spore found it's way into my room
2)one of the clones has a hermie trait and produced a seed.
3)most likely, one had the hermie trait and was stressed in some way.
Thanks for any OP's :chin:

This was discussed a while back. It is my opinion that a female that is not pollenated still wants to survive. Because of this she somehow is able to produce a single seed or two. Whether it is through a very small male flower or something else, it seems to happen quite a bit.

Do you have a link to the thread?

I'd say it has to be a male flower (any reason you say a "small" one?).
A seed cannot be fertilised without pollen, so either:

Some random pollen has entered the growroom from outside
or
The plant has produced at least one male flower

It's happened to me occasionally, but only with a few strains (notably BubbleBerry and some feminised DP White Widow).

Some strains are prone to producing a few male flowers towards the end of the flowering period (i.e. they have slightly hermaphroditic tendencies)

Sometimes the lone male flowers shows up just to continue the line it's a natural thing nothing strange
