Where can I get trellis nets with smaller holes?

All the hydro stores sell nets with 6" or 7" holes, but I find those are too big usually.

Where can i find netting with 3" or 4" holes? I am doing an LST/Scrog type grow and I think it would be easier with smaller holes.

I have found fencing at home depot that has 1" holes, but I think thats too small.

The Hydrofarm polyester mix woven net I get has 5" holes, and I don't think they're too big. If you do, try doubling up so that it has 2.5" holes.

If you look around Home Depot near the concrete stuff, there is a 2" wire mesh covered with tar paper. The tar paper is easily removed, and the screen works great for a scrog when attached to a frame.

I used 1" sch 40 PVC as a frame. And used some stuff from home depot It is called Tenax that has 1" square holes. I simply cut the inside of the squares to get 2". I used zip ties to support the netting to the frame. See picture below.

should work just fine. :D

dam stussy, how long does it take you to do that?

I've made a 3" square netting before by placing screws every 3" along the edge of my frame and then just running string from each screw to the next to make a net pattern. It worked pretty good, but it took a while to make it.

If I make a scrog net again, I'm going to use some of that 2" x 3" metal fencing and just flatten it out an attach it to a frame.

depending on your rigidity needs, "garden bird netting" is light and cheap with little holes. sometimes i snip a few strings for larger branches to go through.
found at most big box hardware stores.

HAHAHA :joint: I had some time on my hand and was heavily medicated. But I got exactly what I wanted. Took about and hour total.

The fence you are talking about is the poultry fence? Or chicken wire?
