Oh limewire is a bit of everything.. Sort of like a public restroom.
But yes the network is rife with music..
Make sure your virus checker is up to date..
Worst thing with music is the WMA files.. stick to mp3 and it's all fine..
WMA often can connect you to a web site that wants to install stuff on your computer.. Under the guise of "Media Rights"
Also sucks with windows media player when it hits a file like that since media player stops and I can't find which song is the problem song and delete it..
Of course I'm not suggesting anyone break the law so don't do it.
I finally ripped my 100+ CD's too so I have like 7 days of music now if played one after another..

mp3 and mp4 are compressed formats. if your player supports either of these, you'll get more music per disc than non-compressed format.

Several years ago, a very popular file share program, KaZaa was a popular download full of viruses. Crooks take these popular programs and add their bs to the package. Stay away from download satellite links.

Ares works for me for music and movies a few good pot vids on there but as stated before make sure your virus checker is up to date i haven't had any problems in 2 years of using Ares

why would you use anything but utorrent w/ a site like the bay or something? It's sooo easy, works waaay better than limewire. I used to use that, but now it's just torrent downloads for me I love it. Never ever had any issues w/ viruses yet, and the best thing is that you can usually find entire "discography" collections for almost anyone. So you get it all in 1 place, not to mention the movies etc...I just go Inglorious Bastards, and will watch it today, also got all of the "Don't get busted" dvds, they were interesting.

IE2, I've had a little experience converting iso but I'm unfamiliar with a torrent. Is this something that has to be converted to usable format? If you don't mind, point me toward a tutorial so I may learn something, lol. Thanks.

They have been under scrutiny from the gov lately. Just so everyone knows. Fishy shit keeps going down. As for utorrent, thats what I use. Be careful when downloading volumes of stuff though: I have heard of 2 friends getting letters from the Feds saying stop downloading or we are going to charge you with pirating. (they were downloading movies and shit)

That's why I use Peerguardian along with utorrent. For those that don't know Peerguardian protects you from them scanning the network to see who is downloading what.
I have gotten just about every grow video ever made off of Isohunt/Demonoid. Plus the Never Get Busted/Never Get Raided movies. It's rare that they don't have what I'm looking for.
