When will my male be ready for harvest?

its lowlife blueberry autoflowering at about 5 weeks. Im planning on cutting the top off and putting it in a glass of water to harvest. my question is when should i do this?

i think i read that you should just keep a piece of paper or glass under the plant so the pollen can be easily collected. I think I also read that those little male flowers will pop open as soon as two weeks after forming.

Cut it a branch of pollen sacks and put it in water once it starts dropping pollen good. Not before.

ight so once i start seeing some of the ones on the top open, that would be the time to cut it and put it a glass of water?

You can normally place a male branch in water just before the flowers open and still harvest viable pollen.

Just make sure the male flowers are formed and they will open like any cut flower.
