Some of my clones just popped roots, im wondering how long should i leave the in the cloner before moving them to soil? As soon as they pop roots? After they have a few roots? When?

Not sure but I think ur supposed to take em out when they have the first signs of roots

but Iv had no problems transplanting a clone with 6+ inches of roots

ok i was just worried that leaving them in the cloner would hurt cause i use distilled water so it doesnt have any nutes at all right

As soon as I see roots they go into soil. They have been without food long enough, why deplete them any further than necessary?

i agree with jj get them soil as soon as you haVE 4 or 5 roots sticking out. i put mine under cfl for 2 weeks then under 400w halide for 1 to 2 months then under 1000w hps. if you dont have cfls put them at least 18 inches away from high wattage bulbs
