Where can you get those? I dont know about C02 in flower. I've heard that it helps, but I've also read that it is only really helpful in veg. I don't know... sorry.

Good luck!

When to stop...

When to stop...

I stop when the transpiration rate slows down towards the end of flower. In other words when they slow down on taking up water. Past this point is redundent imo. take care... BC

What is said on the OG link is that co2 supplementation during veg can lead to a delay in maturation, what they speak of is delay in sexual maturation I imagine. Also it recommends:

"Recommended carbon dioxide supplementation is between 1000 and 2000ppm, depending on light intensity, from germination or during the rooting of cuttings through final maturation"

Also:
"Use it throughout to the final moment and run it during the curing and drying process to further assist additional metabolization."

Sounds like it would make most sense to use it beginning just after the plants show sex until final maturation. I can't imagine using it during drying process.

Or, if in a sealed room, use supplementation during veg only slightly above the normal amt, because it is sealed, and so that it doesn't delay sexual maturation, unless using clones that are already sexually mature.

Maybe the reason why growers lower the amt of CO2 towards the end of flowering is because a higher temp in the room is necessary for the plants to use it, so, this may also increase the risk of budrot/and/or mildew.(just a guess)

As for the second link: The idea of co2 reducing potency is silly.

I stop CO2 during the last 2 weeks when the buds are ripening and not growing anymore. This is the general consensus. There is really no benefit unless the plants are still growing.

I dont use it in veg, it can certainly help though. The rationale most folks that I talk to use is that the benefit doesnt outweigh the costs in stage.

Only use with the lights on too, CO2 provides no beneift in the dark stage. in cause you didnt know that part...

C02 is a necessary component of decarbolyxation (sp?). Thats why some old schoolers breath into the jars while they cure.

I wouldn't spend any money on that though.

Yeah, thats right Steelers, there is very little if any photosynthesis going on during dark stages, so, no point in using co2 then. It makes sense to have the co2 turn on a few minutes before lights turn on to increase levels by the time they go on again.
