I'm at 7 days from seeds sprouting. I called H&G and the guy said for sure. He said he soaks his plugs in it prior to sowing. Is this legit? I always thought it wasent a good idea to feed any nutes for 2-3 weeks.
I want to start useing it but am nervous.

Also would the same go for mycos? Starting now. It's specifically myco madness by humboldt nutrients.
Thanks!

Yup, and yup. The earlier the better with mycorrhizal fungi, though that product is more a trichoderma/beneficial bacteria innoculant than anything.

Roots isn't a nutrient, more plant extracts and such. re: feeding, there is a good thread on feeding seedlings in the side-by-side sub-forum.

I wish I knew what was in the root excerator. Not so much so we can replicate it, but so I know what my girls are taking in.

I'm in coco. Here's what I'm working with with H&G line; roots excelleator, cocos a&b, multi zen, drip clean. Also shooting powder, bud xl and top booster. And I am useing humboldt nutrients's equilibrium for my cal mag source. And am probably going to pick up magic green next week
Does anyone know I really need the algen extract, or nitrogen booster? To complete the line? Or I should be fine with what I've got? Am new to h&g line, except for shooting powder. I used s.p. With my last crop running humbly nutrients natural line. When I started the shooting powder I started seeing results in a day, with craZy swelling and foxtailing like crazy. Easily increased my yield by 15%-20%. Now I'm going to run only house and garden.

I've always started after about a week, and never thought much about it. Thought I'd better read this thread to see if I'm fucking up.

The trouble with RE is that one can only guess what's in it. I was "told" by my grow store guy that it was organic. I don't think so. The only ingredient listed [if memory serves] I don't think is organic.

Also don't know if it has Naa or IBA. It could, but I "think" they have to show them on the label.

I still use RE, but less and less since I've started using Gen Org BioRoot. Very impressed with it. Surprised by the fast root growth, like big ass white roots nearly pushing the plant up in the pot. Also is a 1-1-1 so that's even more for your money, and is a good mild occasional stand alone for young plants. A qt should be about $15, and use it at 5 or 10 ml/gal. Good luck. -granger

also have heard same how H and g is pretty organic and even if not if you flush properly you don't have to worry about it cause I believe flushing takes away any chemicals left in plants
