What light will you be transferring them to in the grow room?

I've just been grasping this myself, I wasn't too sure if they'd handle the increase in light/decrease in humidity but after 3-4 days under the 600w MH veg lamp they seem to be ok wit the increase. Mine are further on than yours though, they have 5-6 sets of leaves, some very small mind.

If you can keep the heat within range and maintain the humidity levels which they like when in veg in your main area I don't see any reason as to why not. What size pots will you be transferring them to? FWIW I think a few more days where they are would be the best thing, if you had a slightly bigger light, maybe a 60w, start using that and they'll probably be fine for another week. All depends on your intended main room lighting I suppose.

I start mine under a 400 watt, as soon as they pop I remove the plastic baggy from the solo cup. The light is about 36 inches away and I have a fan oscillating and lightly blowing at the light. Every couple of days I drop the light about 6 inches until at about 10 days the light is 12 inches away.
For me this helps to eliminate stretch, and think about this, in nature seeds sprout under full sun and the sun is much brighter than any grow light.

1000 watts from the get go, under a dome first couple days, then dome comes off. Lights not close.

my baby's are in veg from day 1. If you mean to veg them indoor first then put them outdoor. 60-90 days indoor then put them outdoor. The longer you veg the larger your yield. I just finished a 66 day veg for my BROTHERHOOD OG. These plants dont get very big. they take a long time just to get 3' tall..Same with Cookies. All of my elite cuts take a very long time to get large..

Im not a outdoor/greenhouse grower so Im just giving you my best guess what I would do.

i have a 4ft x 4ft tent with a 600hps set up ready to go...i have some 400mh so i am thinking use the 400mh for veg then swap to the 600hps for bloom,is putting them in the room over kill,i have a little 70watt hps would that be ok to use to get them to a better size first ?

Although now I use t5's I use to go straight to 1k MH a safe distance away and with a fan on them at all times. Helps the babies grow strong stems.

Using a high watt light with fans to bring temps down also seems to bring my humidity down below the optimum levels for veg, are there ways to correct this? Thanks.

Sounds like that'll work to me, straight under the MH, providing you can keep the temps and humidity okay. Good luck with everything mate.

Best to have seedling under 24 hr light until the sixth set of true leaves. I veg under 24 hr light, some do not if you dont then wait until the sixth set to put them in ur veg room. And if the seedlings are all u got right now then yea the 70 watt hps will work fine for now. No sense in running a 400 or 600 watt for ten seedlings.IMO. best of luck.

My personal method is once the y pop, I keep them under a set of 3 T5s for a couple of days. After a few days, i will increase to 6 T5s. Also starting the light further away and gradually move it closer day by day. Id say I start w the light about 20 or so inches away amd workl up to about 6 inches.
After that I go at em like I would my clones. Top em when I usually do and I dont give em nutes untill I transplant out of solo cup. Maybe a lil N if they are really askin for it. But Im pretty new to popin seeds and not 100% on the most effective methods.
