when to flush if you didn't keep track of dates

Hey all, I just wanted to get some opinions on how things are looking. I got some clones from a friend that are romulan. he said he may have thrown in a purple diesel or og kush in there. so here's the pic. I'm pretty sure I have a purple deisel on my hands. you can see in the pic it's the second one from the left. looks totally different from the rest. the first pics are of the romulan. I didn't know when to start counting for flowering since this is my first grow and it's outdoors. I'm guessing they are about 4 weeks in. Just wanted to see if you guys agree with the pics that I have.

From the closeup bud shota I would say you have a while yet...

now the purple that i have started to flower way sooner and looks much farther along with bigger buds and lots of crystals and is super sticky and stinky. I'm guessing it's about 6 weeks along. what do you think? I'm just wondering when I should start flushing this one?

Flushing outdoor plants, I don't think this is really possible. You can stop feeding and water heavily, but it shouldn't make a huge difference.

Indoors I would start flushing when trichomes are mostly cloudy and not quite amber yet.

Like lazyman said you won't be able to flush the plants as they're being grown in the ground. Even putting a hose at the base of the stem and leaving it on overnight will make no noticeable difference in the end. Your only real option for improving the taste is to cure the buds after you harvest.

you think 3 weeks for the romulan or the purple diesel? the romulan is on top. I figure i had a ways to go for the romulan. I know the purple is a little closer and was told it has a shorter bloom time. Good info on flushing, thanks for the info. but more or less, still stop the nutes about 12-14 days prior to harvest correct?

If they were my plants I would stop feeding them about 3-4 weeks before the harvest was to be expected. They will still have a fair bit of nutrients left in the soil for a couple of weeks, maybe even longer, once you stop feeding them so a slightly longer period without nutrients would make for a better tasting end product. Witholding nutrients for 2 weeks will give you a much higher yield though so its really upto you

I think they're all about 3 weeks into flowering.

Those look beautiful. Planning on trying a 1 or 2 plant outdoor grow next year for experimenting. I surround all my tomatoes with a variety of basil to flavor the fruits & keep some bugs away. I wonder if I can make basil flavored weed, or tarragon. I can imagine lots of applications for this in the kitchen.
