for most AFs changing from MH to HPS is around Day 30. That way the finish the veg and stretch before forcing into flowering.

But with envirolites bro i would keep the spectrum dual to ensure best growth. Keep 1 Red and 1 Blue in there through out the grow, you might even switch them out with eachother that way all the plants get the same amount of different light every few days or so.

I'll concur with icc. My explanation... since they are auto, they can sprout in april and be done in june, really before the solstice, and drop seed to harvest in september and october. So there wouldn't be any real advantage in switching one way or the other.

Besides, do you really think the sun changes color from spring to summer to fall? Sure, if your way north, and the angle of the sun is greater than 45 degrees, due to atmospheric pollution, and even that isn't so great.

This light color thing is just a vestigial relic of the HPS vs. MH subjective reasoning.
