When is the earliest you can smoke the plant?

I've been growing skunk seeds indoor and they are estimated to be ready for smoking by the end of October. My question is, when is the earliest you can smoke the plant? I'm bored and want to try to smoke it now. Must the plant go through the "flowering" stage first, or can you get at least a mild buzz from premature smoking? Please explain the maturing process so I understand the ins and outs of this inquiry. Thank you!

October harvest means outdoor growing.

Ex. if you grow outdoors the plant doesn't mature the same as indoors as the sun has different light cycles.

During flowering the trichomes mature which contain thc I wouldn't smoke weed at all until it's at least proper harvesting time. Smoking weed that hasn't at least dried let alone cured is gross as fuck imo.

What kind of light cycles are you using? Seems like you're a bit confused.

Thanks for the reply. It's a 250 Watt setup, and I'm giving them 18 hours of light, 6 of dark. Temp ranges from 72 to 78 degrees during light, and 68 to 72 during night. It's an indoor job. The October target date was based on the amount of time needed to mature from plant to flowering.

uuummm sounds like they are still veggin. If you must smoke early, you can smoke the leaves, sometimes you can get a little buzz, but it would be well worth the wait on the buds tho.I would go ahead and start the 12/12 flowering cycle now and you will be smokin soon enough. :dueling:

Not to be mean or anything, but how do you have 117 post and not know that you have to switch to 12/12 for flowering? What have you been posting about?? Yeah man, indoors, the plant isn't going to know when October is here. That is the beauty of indoor growing! You can harvest year round by manipulating the light cycles. Anyways, good luck!

buy yourself a vaporizer and when the buds start looking "juicy" you can vape budd straight off the plant. and see how strong a smoke it is. :joint:

If you have to do it then yeah a vaporizer is the only way to go but really its not a good idea.

This guy wygram isn't for real folks.

Look at what he asks/says in his latest thread.

IMO, he's a "poser" of some sort.

That's brilliant Toodles. You have me pinned. I'm a "poser." You should quit your day job and work for the CIA.

I'm new at this, so give me a break.

Well if you are new, you should be reading more and posting less. The questions you are asking are so basic as to be silly....and all are covered in the various StickyNotes of the forums.
