When exactly i have to change light spectrum from veg to flowering?

Iam using some led light 6400k now in vegetative time , i already change the light cycle to 12/12 gradually few days ago... Now i know before spotting some tiny buds need to wait around 2 weeks...

But my question is: when i need to change light spectrum from 6400k (cold light) to 2700k (warm light)?right ater turning 12/12 or just waiting those two weeks till i do not see first flowers forming?
And can i manage my flowering period gradually between the two different lights with a mix of them or is better just warm light in flowering period?

I will be happy if you can give me some advises.

I can only share my own experience, I've vegged under only both red and blue, and flowered under either mixed, or all red.
My plants that received red throughout both the vegetative cycle, through flower until harvest were heartier, bushier and easier to manage plants.

In my opinion it's likely strain dependent, how much do you want them to stretch in veg, short indicas could use more blue light, as they're already stocky plants, huge sativas are easier to tame under red spectrum with only simple light stress training of the stalk and branches.

I'd love to hear opinions on bud structure terpenes and flower times when flowered under blue. I had gotten looser flowers from the added heat of the blue spec, but the terpenes were phenomenal.

i've used both, plants grow a little different with each one...but 12/12 is 12/12 as long as you have the right kind of lights to facilitate plant growth. mix em for best effect. :tiphat:

the guy up there has it backwards, plants will stretch a little more when flowered under redder light than bluer light. but at the end of the day i noticed no dramatic results under either. mix seems best.

Keep my for the first 2 weeks if u wanna reduce stretch, but personally I switch to HP's at days 1 flowering....

I run both spectrums all the time with hopes of a broader profile to my flower.
Now during the winter it helps regulated the temperature in the tent.

Now my T5 have created issues with too much stretch, so I run my LEDs approx. when my girls are 18 inches.

Any light is good light during my 'on' time.
