When does a 12 week strain start bud set?

I typically Grow 9 week strains sometimes I get a 10 in there but I was given several plants that are supposedly amnesia and was told they take a little longer. Well it's 3 weeks in and everything in the room is stacking except for these amnesia plants. The stocks on these plants are almost twice the size of the other ones and the leaves are very sativa dominant. I'm just getting irritated and anxious. Any information would be great, oh and they are showing white hairs where they are supposed to but that's it!

I have not done amnesia but a couple different long flower time sativa plants have been grown.
A month along and clover looking buds seem to be the norm.
Two months and the buds were still a bit undersized and scraggly.
Three months and they actually started to look budlike.
Four months along the plants were very tall and the buds were average sized, not giants.
I did like the way the bud smoked but at four months I could have had two complete harvests of an indica.

The bud was not twice as good to make it worthwhile to fill the bud room, although I did recently pop another slow sativa seed, just one plant does not take up that much room and it does smoke with a different attitude.

theres quite a shortage of good sativas around ..everyone jumped ship...indigas and hybrids...yeehaw..I prob goona do a haze this year or 2...

Wow. Well I am hoping for better results. They are really starting to stretch and I might remove a few. I will follow up in a few weeks.
