Why is it important to test edibles?

It is much easier to overdo it with edibles. I’ve heard a lot of patient stories and what the issue with that is, it’s, you don’t know what people are putting in there. You see x, 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x. You see drinks that are 500, 800, 1600 x. What’s x? No one’s defined x. X of what? Yes. It is very important that you leave here today understanding the difference for why we are much more capable and prepared to test food products as opposed to other labs out there and the big difference comes from the difference in the equipment we’ve selected to analyze.

I agree in principle but without standardized extractions you won't know who measures bho, red oil, or nasty green or dirty bubble. I label mine with the oil type.
example: 50mg red oil per serving

if a .25 gram of errl per serving isn't enough, then i don't know what to tell you

from what I have seen it's
1x = .25g
2x =.50g
4x =1g

HOWEVER............ as this is the NORMAL start dosage for new users of edible MMJ it's been the norm for dispensaries to use this x per .25 g dosages

each user will need a certain mg to get the medicated effect they desire.

mine currently after 2 years usage is about 1.5 g per medible which can last 2-4 hours

Nothing is wrong with you at all. The average dose is 15-25 mg. It also depends if you injest on an empty stomach. The effects wold be a lot stronger.

It is very difficult also to have a consistant dose with edibles. If you decrboxylate all shake and a little bud one time and then the next time a little more bud the total mg. could be ramped up.

Dont give a rats ass what OTHERS say.....
I know what dosage I... need vs anyone else. this is a medication each person needs to see what they need... there is no DR no scholar who can tell YOU what a dose is.

I know NEW USERS need about .25 g DECARBED bud to get the effects ... and this is a NEW medible user who has smoked weed in the past..

I dont say a new mmj user needs .25

its what ever arbitrary amount of cannabis that individual medible producer considers to constitute a dose... so take it with a grain of salt cause it doesn't really mean anything.

if the producer takes a whole medible to get medicated and thinks they have a "superman" type tolerance... they may say its an 8X and most will only need 1/8 to get medicated. When in reality there tolerance may be average to below depending on the quality of product they are used to and those with actual high tolerances may need 3 or more of that person's medibles to be effected.

Hence, Ive eaten 2 korova 10 dose 51/50 bars in the same sitting (so 20 X) and got nothing but a full ass stomach... so it all depends on the individual making the medibles and the person consuming them.
