whats wrong with the ladies. was ph to high?

i have a ffof/promix soil mix. dolomite was added.
under mix sprectrum of 315w lights.
the water is tap water which is going through like 6 carbon filters mainly carbon blocks. and a flouride filter. I recently added the flouride filter as i read flouride can cause problems as well. the ph of the water after all the filter is about 8+ and ppm of about 115 or so.

i didnt have a ph meter until recently. ive been feeding them with a 8+ph water. figured the lime should buffer. the last 2/3 waterings ive adjusted the ph to 6-7. i was thinkin possible nute lockout...
what do yall think and or suggest? thanks

First - You should never be watering at a pH of 8. Always optimal at 6-6.5 for soil with only rare exceptions.

Second - Dolamite lime is used as an amendment to raise pH, so it looks like you are going too alkaline twice.

Third - You mixed FFOF(soil) and promix(soiless mix)? What ratio did you mix them. I've heard that FFOF is on the hot side, so a little promix could be fine, but if its 50/50 figuring out what to feed them becomes more of a guessing game than it needs to be.

I would probably avoid amending soils until you understand what you are doing - FFOF is popular and sold that way for a reason so you need good reason to change it. For now i would probably flush with a good amount of water pH'd to 6.0 and see if they improve. If they don't, I would wonder if they are just being overwatered.
