Day 32 of Flower
Strain: Loompa's Headband x Triangle Kush from HumboldtCSI
Light: HLG 350r Diablo set at 60% - The light is 24" above the canopy.
Tent: 3'x3' Gorilla Grow Tent
Fan: Hydrofarm JetFan 6" 350 CFM set at 50%
Carbon Filter: Vortex Pro-Lite CFM
Two oscillating fans in the tent - one right below the light and one on the floor

Soil:
LC's Soiless Mix #2
6 Parts Fox Farm Ocean Forest
2 Parts Earth Worm Castings
2 Parts Perlite
Amendments:
LC's Recipe #1
1 tablespoon Blood meal per gallon (12-0-0)
2 tablespoons Bone meal per gallon (6-8-0)
1-tablespoon kelp meal per gallon (1-0.1-2)
1 tablespoon per gallon Jersey Greensand
I let this cook for 2 weeks before I transplanted the adult plants into it.
Plants are in 3 gallon pots.

I water with tap water that has been bubbled for 24 to 48 hours. However, I do not test it for pH.

I may be watering too often. What do you think is wrong with them?

Here are the pics...

The leaves look like they are finishing up due to the season or like when they are not being given enough food when you flush at the end of a cycle.

It's easier to tell what is up if you show whole plant pictures.

That 4th pic is lovely. I'd want to mount that

That 8th pic is lovely. I'd want to mount that with its amazing autumn colours.

I forgot to say that it's only day 32 of flower.

Here are pics of a Mendo Purps Bx1 #3 x Purple Urkle from HumboldtCSI using the same soil and water in the same tent.

What is the temperature and humidity?
Lights on hover between 70F to 85F, give or take.
Lights off 55 to 70F.
Humidity between 55 to 80 rH.
I'm looking forward to winter because once it snows the humidity in the house drops a lot.

I just noticed that some of the white hairs are already turning brown. It's not from pollen so I'm guessing I'm getting some light burn from the LED???????

hmmmm. i dunno

You could try insulating the pots and raising the tent temperature a bit so the low night time temps are increased a bit.

Also, you could increase the nutrient feed concentration and apply it to one plant only to see if it makes a difference.

Are you feeding with nutrients each watering?

I thought soul amendments were more for outdoor growing rather than indoor growing.

Haha, soul amendments, i mean soil

Tent: 3'x3' Gorilla Grow Tent
Fan: Hydrofarm JetFan 6" 350 CFM set at 50%

You could also try turning your oscillating fans down or removing one of them. Some of the leaves look like they could be reacting to cold and have wind burn.

As long as fresh air is coming into the tent from your intake holes all you really need is one osc. fan at canopy level gently moving the air about.

It's early for me but i think your extract at 175cfm is maybe too high, your room is 3ft x 3ft x 6ft = 54 ft3 so you need only to move 54cfm.

By the looks of things and from what you have said I think you may be over watering them. The dark spots are calcium def the yellowing along the veins is magnesium def!
Both are probably in the soil but the plant is unable to uptake them due to over watering causing pH to be out!
How often and how much do you water?
Have you felt the difference in weight between your pots between watering?

isn't this recipe a bit low on K?
EDIT: and by "a bit" I mean a lot.
and let us know your water pH, and possibly a runoff as well.
EDIT2: you might be watering too often too, how often do you water? how much water?

unlikely side trivia: there is such a thing as "wind burn" check that your oscillating fans aren't too strong and that their oscillation is not too slow. (I usually have them on the lowest setting, but I grow by the meter square at a time).

For indoor grows it's better feeding using a few ml liquid nutrients added to tap water each watering.

You can fine tune your adjustments much better that way if you encounter a nutrient deficiency as these liquid nutes are designed to be immediately available.

Amending soil with powdered food is better for outdoor grows and makes it easier hauling just water. Such amendments tend to be more slower releasing.

Your EC is too high. Do a pour thur and catch some of the runoff and test the EC and pH. What kind of water are you using?

I forgot to say in the OP that the soil mix also has Powdered (NOT PELLETED) dolomite lime @ 2 tablespoons per gallon.

EC and pH? I don't know either and I don't have an EC meter. I can test the pH of the tap water and run off using GH pH tester drops. Water is just from my tap but bubbled for 24 to 48 hours. I collected some rainwater and watered with it. I suspect that may have thrown off the pH. I'm back to using tap water.

I used the same tap water with this same soil mix in 3 gallon pots for hot pepper and tomato plants outside under the sun in my garden and they grew nice and healthy. Yes, weed plants and peppers and tomatoes are not the same but they are pretty close to using the same nutrients and amounts, no?

How often do I water? I can't lift the pots to check the weight because of the canopy that hold the plants down so I stick my pointer finger into the soil down to my knuckle and pull it out. If there is not soil stuck to my finger and it doesn't feel moist then I water. I water maybe a third of a gallon, wait 30 minutes, and then water again until there is run off. I wait 5 minutes, and if there is water in the saucers at the same level or above the drain holes, I suck it up with a siphon and dispose of it.
tl;dr I water every four to five days, give or take.

One thing I notice with this soil mix is that it's really 'clumpy' so maybe it retains more water than necessary? That being said, it drains out of the pots easily. Maybe next time I will add more perlite to it.

Those brown scabs are calcium deficiency. But ...if your pH it too low it will lockout calcium so giving calmag may not cure the problem until pH is straightened out. Im Guessing ph is off locking out calcium. Too much fert will buildup in soil and lower pH. First thing I would do is flush flush flush.

looks like ph to me. you said soilless mix right? ph is crucial without the buffer of soil. edit: i read your medium again and the soilless is just part of the mix, but still, looks like ph

Can I use GH pH Down in my water or will it kill the beneficial bacteria in my organic soil? If not, what is an organic version of pH Down that I can use?
