Whats up with this seedling?

This is from bag seed.. It was exceptional weed and i could only get two seedlings to sprout. One never developed more then the cotyledon leaves. This one took 10 days to crack the soil as oposed to my NL seeds which after the seed cracked, cracked the soil in 2 days. I really wanted to grow this seed but am starting to think maybe the seeds are too old? Less receptive to my soil then NL seeds? It is growing but only one set of serated leaves.. Its under 400 w mh lights about 15 inches away the same as all my NL seeds.

Hard to say whats actually wrong with it,the question is do you want to grow it out or not,its up to you.I dont normally even try to grow mutant seedlings too long.I recenlt got 10 out of 10 DP fem blueberry but 4 of the 10 were mutant,I through them out I have 6 good ones

Well, after 20 seeds attempted, this is the farthest i got from the bag seed. I have 5 NL growing well but since this seeded weed was so good I was hoping to get a female and see how good it was un polinated. Realistically, the chances of getting a female out of this are slim but I will let it go for now.. Would be great to get a female off it and get some clones.

I wouldnt even bother with seed out of a bag unless I kew exactly what it was.My bagseed grows were from good pot but the resulting plants were mainly hermies and just really lousy quality.I wouldnt bother with it when there are so many goof strains avail;able.Thats just my opinion though apparently many people have had good bagseed grows,not me.

Well, obviously i have too much free time seeing how much time i spend on these forums.. My 5th NL seed was scrawny and I was going to chalk it up as a loss. I hit it with some liquid kelp and now its bouncing back fine. I have some extra space for now so I will just let it go.. I am curious about the leaf shape etc when and if it grows more.. There are some very small leaves sprouting now but the whole seedling is mis shapen. Its just very strange that it took so long to sprout and so long to grow as oposed to the NL

The original seedling was deformed and had only one serated leaf.. I was going to dump it but let it go.. now 8 days later... I guess there is a lesson here somewhere..

Sometimes they start out funky, Dan. I've had some that started out with some seriously hideous looking leaves, all gnarly and twisted and deformed, but they grew up to be my most potent girls! The best looking seedings were always the males, go figure...


It's the one in the center, right? Looks like it's doing great

I'm in no way promising potency just because my gnarly girls were, and I haven't found any evidence anywhere online to support gnarly ladies are more potent. I'm thinking mine were more potent due to strain, whatever the strains were (unknown bagseed) They were just 4 girls out of a bunch of males and females that sprouted ugly leaves, and ended up being strong as hell. I actually kind of wish they'd hermied, I would have LOVED to grow them again, they were so damn good
