alright, so basically my buddy and I (another patient) are almost ready to have our med garden ready to roll, BUT i just would like a few critiques from people to see what i could improve etc.

-if you had this system how would YOU set it up/configure it?

ive had several small scale ops (400w) but nothing this big. so i want to really think over every little aspect before this is 100% up and running. shit its pretty much too late cause i almost have all the equip...its about 80% done.

-8x8 (or a little bigger) metal shed drywall insulated
-1000w hps air cooled
-1000w mh air cooled (i would like to have these set up right next to each other. i have the sun systems super large hoods 22.5 x 24in)

-8in inline fan (465 cfm i beleive)
-Wall mounted A/C unit

Medium:
Canna Coco

Nutrients + additives:
-Canna coco A/B
-Canna rhyzotonic
-Canna cannazym
-Canna pk 13/14

Babies:
at LEAST 12 (probably more 18-22)
veg for 2-3 weeks in 2 gallon pots and top em a few times
flower in 5 gallon pots

By the end of October this is going to be (needs to be) (WILL BE) complete and running.
Thanks for the input!

Running them side by side with equal spacing would be a good idea. You should be able to veg 18 plants for 40 days and flower them in 5 gal pails in that area. With those lights I do not see a lot of sense in vegging them for such a short period of time...

2000 watts in an 8 x 8 sounds real good. That should crank out some awesome bud.

A/C and good blower excellent.

I am a soil grower so I cant comment about Canna Coco.

Depending on the plants, if your final transplants go into 4-5 gallon pots could do 12 or more pots per light, but I generally go 9 per 1000w light and I would not top them. You have the space to let them do their thing with a good Indica strain and they shouldnt get to tall. 18 plants at 3oz per,(minimum and conservative), or more, you do the math.

With that setup I start at least 36 Indica seedlings in 1 qt pots under CFL's, then transplant to 2 gallon pots after a couple of weeks. Then go under the big lights and veg for 5-6 weeks. I force flower by going 12/12 before sex is determined usually, so as soon as sex is revealed I put the females in their final pots and finish flower.
Figure on 50% females out of the bunch, so dump the males if you dont plan on breeding.

My goal would be to get a least 9 females per light.

I forgot to mention that the "babies" I was talking about are cuttings from a niiice momma! so they are already 4-6 inchs tall...:joint:

When using cana coco with pk 13/14, you are adding alot of potassium. You should boost your magnesium levels to counteract this and avoid mag deficiency. 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) epsom salts per gallon (3.8L) of water along with the regular ferts.

Keeping an eye on ph and possibly total disolved salts (ec) would be wise.

I could not agree more with SKELETOR either. Co-op grows SUCK! But, you will find that out soon enough. Other than that, sounds like you got a killer set-up. those bulbs will throw out some big-time heat, so you might consider pulling the heat out of those reflectors as well as the room itself.
Peace
