whats the prime time to flip to flowering?

i was just wondering what would be the best time to change over to flowering cycle? I'm growing 8 plants in a 3x3x hydrohut in soil with a 600 hps.

whenever you want, just remember that most strains double to triple in size, once flowering is started

I've got a 3x3 HH and a 400w. I vegged some Nirvana Ice under Flouro shoplights for 1.5 months and they ended up being around 3.5-4 feet tall at the end of flowering. They are a mutt strain too so there they had sativa and indica all around.

If you use some training you can get a very nice yield under that 600 in a 3x3. All I did was top once during the first 2 weeks of flower and they bushed out nicely.

always depends on your grow space obviously but if that is not an issue than wait till the nodes start alternating and that is when the plant is truly mature enough to go into flowering.

i usually flip to 12/12 as soon as i start seeing preflowers

my plants are about 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall. i switched my timer over to 12/12 today. i forgot to add in my first thread i started from clone if that makes a difference i should have some flower pix soon thanks for all the help

Exactly......Just keep a nice even canopy by topping and lst if you want,make some bushes before the flip.I kinda like mostly-indica cannabis and will throw it when mature at about 14 inches ideally

Well...how much if you remember did the Mother/original stretch?
You may not have enough room,I would top the shit outta them though like SOON,tie the branches down somehow......Otherwise your lookin at a friggin jungle that'll be too big to manage IMO
