What's the point of a EC meter when you are just gonna dump 7g in with lucas?

Really confused as to how everyone gets by with dumping 7g maxibloom with lucas and on the other hand people are using Ec meters to tune what they need for their plants. It is my first grow and while upping the dose to one large plant from 5'to 7g/gal gave me burn and then accelerated deficient condition I can't seem to think dumping that same mix on a one inch tall cutting will fare well for me.what am I missing?

If you grow with less than 250w, EC becomes very important.

Also if you grow mixed cultivars with specific needs, EC matters.

If you grow in coco, knowing your water source EC is important.

Small plants can take full strength, but if you notice most growers
will work up to full strength.

What made you up dosage to 7 grams anyway? And has your girl recovered?

P and K deficiencies is why i dosed higher . All my 4 out of 5 females have been showing these problems since flower while one shows lack of N . Now that I have worked My why up to 6.5g / gal maxi boom it responded very well yet the tips still showed this yellowing . From the looks of it upping the dose on all the plants has showed this yellowing tips on three of them while the grow is now explosive so obviously not burning .I over reacted last time is what i am guessing and i am betting if i keep stepping the dose up on the other plants will work out . We will see . Thanks for your response and hope to have a EC meter soon , thanks !
