Whats the deal with California Cultivators License?

Hey i was thinking about getting this, because its not too expensive and might help with things in court in case of worst scenario.

However i was talking to a friend about gettingone and he said DONT. he said quote "in the fine print for getting a cultivators license it says that LEO or the regulation agency is allowed to come into your grow whenever they want to make sure you are in compliance with limits"


is this true?? it seems like FUD but does make sense. they can keep a record of everyone with cultivators and then bust them later when they dont pay taxes and other regulations.

Never heard of such a thing, someone selling that is making up stories IMHO. There is no mention of licensing in 215 or SB420 for cultivation.

Just a side note, my attorney told me that any paperwork that will help you in a state case, will FRY you if it goes Federal. Just so's you know. he said you can have all the paperwork you want, but hide most of it unless its needed in court.

I agree. I've heard some bullshit form dispensaries as well. This one tried to tell me that I should leave my Dr., go to this one place that he recommended because they "Give you a card". This guy was trying to tell me that a cop would take some stupid little card that this clinic printed up but would not take an original recommendation signed by my Dr.

Everybody with a 215 Rec is already Legal to grow-- If you want to form a small Collective with some friends, all you need to do is write up an agreement, stating no $$ is exchanged, and it doesn't cost you anything--
There is nothing about a "Cultivator's Permit" in 215, or in 420--

You can go get a pretty little county card for about 150. I remember them saying something about a caregiver procedure as well. Wouldn't hurt to go to your county health dept and see what's up. Anything else besides a script is probably bs.

yea forget about it then, if you can grow up to 99 with your regular 215 paperwork than why need a cultivator! im only growing like 40 plants tops right now.

However I have a good feeling that my cashed checks for federal income taxes for my US Corporation that is a Pharmaceutical and Medicine MFG. with a specific product of medicinal cannabis will actually be able to use such paperwork to save my ass if the feds wanted to get busy with me.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me. All that would help you with is avoiding a tax evasion charge, you can declare illegally gained income on your tax return, paying taxes doesn't make something legal.
