I know there is no way to be 100% certain of what strain I may have here, but humor me please. 
The Seed: I collected about 50 seeds from some high-grade weed I was getting in 2001-2002. I was getting it from a friend who got it from a connection that got it straight from the grower. I was told it was a commercial hydro/greenhouse grow. I am assuming that someone with that sophisticated of a setup would not scrimp on genetics, right?
Well I have done 3 grows with these bagseed and have had many flavors of plants. Smells of everything from bubblegum, grape, skunk, grapefruit. My very favorite is this strain?/pheno? that smells just like deisel fuel. I had one of these plants in my second grow and it was by far the best in potency. I have another this grow that is about a week from chopping.
As I said this weed smells like deisel, has rock hard buds. None of my other plants have even compared to the density of these buds. The smoke is very hard hitting with lots of lung expansion to it. When rolled in a joint it reminds me of the Colombian gold and red that we would get in the late 1970s.
I hope that with the description I have given, someone can identify these traits and know of a strain that fits. I would guess it to be something like sour deisel but I am a newbie and I am not at all familiar with any legit strains yet.
