WHAT'S MISSING? Purple Bastard Probs

Hello all

About 2 months ago, I was lucky enough to have been gifted a cutting from Purple Bastard. Ever since, it's been one of the jewels in my garden...

However, over the past 3-4 weeks, I've noticed a descoloration from the leaves, and I'm under the suspicion she's missing something.

At first, I thought it was space, so I changed her to a bigger pot (about 1.5 weeks ago) but the problem persists.

Although she's at the very begining of her flowering period, up to this moment, I had been feeding her with a diet for veg. Her diet includes:
- Fish Mix (biobizz)
- Alg-a-Mix (biobizz)
- Prizotonic (canna)
- Superthrive

This diet normaly works for all the other plants, but the PB seems to be a bit more picky.

Could anyone out there help me identify what's missing? The PB is a superb smoke, and I would like to give her the best possible environment, so that she rewards me accordingly.

As you can notice, the plant has hardly grown horizontaly, and only a bit verticaly. What's happening to her?

hey Browser ...sorry i mist this thread this mornun....but yea i think rkrone is right here....i've grown here 4 times and every time i had it in early flower....untill i gave her vegnutes untill the 4th week...i start begin of week 5 with floweringnutes (canna)...
and you should give her cal/mag every once and a while ...she loves that 2...
at that size i would be giving her around 7 a 800 PPM's of full feeding vegnutes..canna vega in my case...

So far I had been feeding her the normal dose (as indicated on each product), maybe a bit more.

Since I read Core's experience with it I, I've continued the original diet, but including extra nitrogen from other sources. I'll post some pics in due time, to show you how she progresses.

well i think you should bump the nutes overall.....not only Nitrogen....and she's realy picky with her ph ....it needs 2 be spot on realy....let us know what her status is B...

Hello All,

Just a short msg with an update on the PB



She's looking better, seems she really needed the extra N in her diet. Doing much better and she has streched considerably (when compared to the growth pre-change of diet), with more internode space. I have also started to feed her some flowering food, but haven't been able to check the soil's ph.

The PB is doing much better now, she has grown a lot and the def problems seem to have been sorted (she's one of the most butrient hungry plants I've come accross, but also one of the tastiest!)

yea she realy is a nutebiatch B...she likes it alot ...nice 2 see her healthy again...you gonne be pleased with the smoke man...but you already knew that....i'm running her again for the 4th or 5th time...she realy rocks my boat...and not alone mine...

Hello All,

Just a short update to show the progress on the PB.

She seems to be now under control (thanks y'all for your help! ) and starting to flower.

Fingers crossed for mild weather and HUGE sticky buds!
