High All :rasta:

I have some Soma NYCD in various stages and some DP Strawberry Cough seedlings poppin out.

A few pics of the setup

400 Watt Cab

600 Watt Cab

Extractors/Filters

Clone Box

Clones n Seedlings

This is some Soma Diesel at 3 Daze 12/12 400w they all had a hard start with lack of nutes but have come around. All the 3 NYCD that follow were clones taken at the same time (begin Nov.) this one, being the one that had the most veg time, with the last 17 Daze veg under fluries only. I took clones from her 4 Daze b4 flippin and just b4 the photo I heavily cropped and trained her.

Same plant 4 Daze Later

This one is at 21 Daze 12/12 600w I cropped it heavily and trained her to get an even canopy and get rid of the under growth that would never get light and just suck the life out of the tops.

This one is at 38 Daze 12/12 600w and was put into flower just when i got my nutes sorted so she suffered a weak veg.

Crop Formation

Just wanted to share my work, any comments, questions or suggestions are Welcome

Nice work. They are lookin really good. I am hoping my plants come out looking like that. They are bent over 650W. Impressive grow you are having. I will be watching this one.

Wow Thanks for the props guys :rasta:

FunkBomb those cabs are my own design, worked it all out on paper took a cut list down to the lumber yard and they cut every piece to size, i just screwed all the bits together. And i love em!!! the 600w with a 400 m3 or 235 CFM extractor will stay 3º c or 5.4º f over the room temp the cabs are in. The 400w has a 160 m3 or 94 CFM fan i ordered a 300 m3 or 175 CFM but their were only 2 numbers difference in the cat # and i got the 160 m3 and that cab runs about 9º c or 16º f higher than the room, in effect heating up the ambient temps in the room much more than the 600w so i have finally got the cash and ordered another 400m3 just like the 600w and i will be cool. Now i leave the doors open to keep temps down. I will still get an aircon for summer because when temps stay over 35º c temps 95º f the bud looses it's dankness.

Thanks again and i will keep you updated if the interest is here :rasta:

I see you are using a 400W cab and a 600W cab. Are the amounts of heat generated from the 400W and 600W comparable? Both easily kept in check at reasonable temperature?

I have 400W air cooled with 270CFM can-fan and I want to expand to 800W (2 x 400W). Would you recommend a fan upgrade or should I be good?

Keep up the impressive growin!

Thats funny you made me realize how bad i screwed up the conversions :muahaha:

Think i have conversions correct at 400m3 per hour is equal to a 235 CFM which is what i use for my 600w and she runs at 3ºc or 5.4ºf warmer than the room temp, so i would say you should be fine with what you have, although i have no experience with multiple lights per fan and this could change things.

Let us know what happens i am curious :rasta:

PeaceOut :rasta:

FarOut -

I'll keep you updated as soon as i get around to upgrading. Thanks for the information! I think i'll bump it up to 800W (2 x 400W) and stick with 270CFM for vent. Take it easy.
