what's eating my leaves?

On my 10" clones, the new growth at the tips of branches is shrivelling up, and a lot of the leaves look chewed up at the base. On the plants that are 4 weeks into flowering, some of the leaves are chewed up. See the pictures. I have inspected for bugs and found nothing. I am growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil. The 10" clones have received no nutes yet. The only thing both sets of plants have been subjected to is the sulfur burner. Could that be causing the damage? If not, what else?

I'm running 600 watt HPS air-cooled lights. The 10" clones are about 1 foot from the lights, and the flowering plants are about 8 inches from the lights.

let me ask you another question now that I'm looking from something a bit bigger than a PDA. do you foliar feed? do you have a meter to test your tap? are you letting the chlorine dissipate? What is your tap ppm before ferts and after? what is the runnoff ppm? any fluxuations in PH? Foxfarm is pretty hot organic ferts. how high are you running it?

I use a Ph test kit. The Ph of the tap water without ferts is around 6.0, and when I use the ferts I use Ph Up to get it back to around 6.0

If your only using "Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil" this could be your problem. Ocean Forest on its own is notorious for burning plants. There's to many nutrients in the soil. You should mix/cut the soil. I know a lot of people who use Ocean Forest 60% Fox Farm Light Warrior 30% and 10% perlite.

thats not nut burn at all. the tips are fine. it is a deficiency, a toxicity or a lockout, if not spraying plants with lights on. I'm betting on a calcium defic.
