What’s been your best tourist weed?

This is what an 1/8th of tourist weed looks like in the Bahamas looks like. It needed 2 more days dry time and 30 days curing. $60. I had to put it in the mini fridge to help dry it out. The shit was harsh as hell but banging which is crazy cause I have never found any good tourist weed in the islands or Mexico. Now I have to go back to the beach to find that plug and ask for some seeds.

My wife bought this pipe for me at a little tourist souvenir shack/booth on the beach. 30 minutes later my new plug walks up and gets a sale. The booth guy sent him over. To get a plug while traveling, you just have to shop for pipes in the straw market or on the beach.

First time cambodia in siem reap iirc 2014
we came to the hotel and the guy running it smiled at us "you look like you like smoking weed" he called it cambidean haze. 10$ for imo honest 10g of mostly what looked like leaf, some sticks and few seeds. we just smoked everything expect the stem and seeds
That shit was like smoking coffee, instant psychedelic electric hit with motivation and energy. One of the best sativas i ever smoked.

I took my own hash in every holiday location before 9/11.

In our honeymoon 1994 in Kenya I bought some weed on the beach. It was wrapped in brown paper, big like a thumb. To be honest it was not very good, dry, full of seeds. Like so called brick weed. So I smoked my own hash.

Unforgetable to smoke a joint, while the sun goes down and gave the Kilimajaro pretty colours.

I used to work on merchant marine ships......back in the early 80's we had a ship come in from Africa that customs found weed on. They didn't find it all....there were hundreds of those "paper cones" filled with dirt weed still in the forward rope locker. We of course smoked as much as we could find wasn't good but would get you high. We were there over a month so once our stash ran out we smoked that dirt weed till the ship sailed....with a shit ton of those "paper cones" still onboard.

Jamaica 1990. A buddy and I cashed out of our divorces around the same time and I convinced him to go to Hedonism II in Negril. We landed at Mo Bay and by the time I got on the shuttle bus for the 1 ½ drive to the resort, I had bought an oz of pot ($20) and a small piece of gum (hand-rubbed hash $10). We rolled a fattie and fired it up but the bus driver yelled back: “You no be smokin dat ting on da bus, mon.”

We stayed stoned all week. We sat by the pool or the beach smoking all day and smoking up anyone that came near. When we needed to buy more, we just walked out of the gate to a couple of vendor stands across the road and bought more – and shrooms as well. We also had shroom tea on the Negril public beach and then we went paragliding as we were getting off . . .

It was a lot of fun.

Fascinating story driver, interesting that you know this paper cones. It needed 30 years to here from somebody else about it! As you wrote, wasn't good but made high.
