What's a good temp dif. between tent and the room it's in to shoot for?

I'm doing some upgrading to my exhaust system and it occurred to me that I'm not even sure what a good goal is to shoot for.

As far as the temp difference between the interior of the tent and the room it's in, what do folks generally shoot for? 5 deg F? More?

Thanks

I go with about 7 - 8 degrees difference. It keeps my lights out temps where I want and the difference between lights on and lights off where I like. Works for me.

During the early summer when temperatures are just beginning to climb the vents are opened full and fans are all on high. The 10' x 12' x 8' room (5600 watts, 9'x 7' grow area) has a pair of fans pushing a total of 5,000 CFM through the room when opened up like this.
The result is about four degrees F over the lung room. Managing this volume of air is difficult without damaging the plants.
When it becomes necessary to go full maximum cooling the lights are swapped to nighttime and the temperature differential is dialed back to ten degrees. Much easier to maintain.
