Nov,1978...I was 15, and living in the middle of a 48,000 acre hunting manegment on the west coast of florida..Columbian Gold was king,and jamican strains as well as accapulco gold was as fine as its ever been..Time has passed like a warm summer breeze,and my ol ass is still pecking w one finger..BTW, I have absolutely no knowledge of just how to even post a PM here.or even insert smily thingys.I been away for awhile,and now that I have MY own PC,and not some smart lil phone I cant frigging use.Now is the time to become a active member of this fine site GN so cleverly put together back in the day for us old schoolers who was really living THAT life.OG. was responcible for WHY I'm here today on this site...No matter all the differences anybody had We all was about the love of the weed..

1997 strains were nl#5,trinity,g13 oregon coast cut,nl#9 and some thing other strains i cant remember . funny storie my land lord left note on door to stop growing right in the open like a dumass on his property and stole my nl#5 plant lol.

Tried first in '72 (high school)....spindly plant (shaded area so it wouldn't be seen), I'd call a dismal failure. Took a few guerilla grows to know how to grow it well. The rest is history.

I come from a commercial fishing family..I got my first seeds from a bail of jamican pot I helped my uncle bring in from off shore in 1977.2600 lbs fit real real nice on a bird dawg.all those who say WTF? Bird Dog>>Mullett boat.Gill net..My job was to stash bails on different islands.We came back later in crab boat and pulled our crab traps,,{blue crabs}.Fill one box w live crabs.Put a bail in another and pour crabs on em..We came in with 8 boxes every single time..lol

My 1st commercial crabing job as a deck hand was interesting as well first pot was full but not one crab lol. This stuff was a little white and blue in the center compered to what you pulled in lol . dont have the balls for that shit any more .

Thanks MAG..Pretty shore a friend saw my dispare and pulled out some stuff from 06.When I read it,,I was freaking out for abit.Man.i don't even know how to put anything anywhere lol,but there was a time I was getting pretty good..Was mentioned that I need old E mail addy to <ws> old handle.ha.ha..Lol..Here is how it all came about..First and foremost,I done ALL my time w/head held high.Im no longer wanted,on probation,or ANYTHING,,.Im a TOTAL free man brothers and sisters after 35 yrs of THAT life..I never done ANY fellow man as god as my witnesss any wrong during that time.Im the type of man that likes a good hand shake and a good look into your EYES..I no longer grow,..well in that capacity..But now that some old things hav been taken care of ,I wanted to come bak {into PC world}and remember just what kind of impact OG had in my life and the doors that were opened...I was in the swamp in 99 prepping for the turn of the century..I was already wanted and worried about NOT being able to BE their for my kids bc of the stupid shit I had done in my life..Infact I once went 2 years without speaking or seeing another person.So here it is turn of the century,and <ws> is in the swamp with a Quad..Polaris sportsman 500..loaded with gas.And a stainless steel Rugar mini 14 mounted on the front with welded 30 round clips..Mucho plenty ammo..Not crazy friends..Just prepared to die defending my family at all or any cost just incase shit hit the fan..Scanners ,MREs ect..Well we all know how it went..So here is <ws> in the swamp with all the plesures MONEY could >>>TRADE.I hav always loved to read high times..lol nuthin like reading it deep in the swamp w the frogs and crikets chirping and smoking killer ganja>>>Or so I thought...I kept reading this one issue over and over.It had this article about this new found way of ppl >>WEED ppl of getting together on this nifty web site..called Overgrow.com. I must say I have always been Anti PC,..New technology? Hell no!,,I used to come out of the swamp about every 2-5 months at first..Then 1 month .then every other week.until I came out in 05 and well .Wink .hang in there.i will get bak to that,A friend who had PC and internet bak then got this web site up and I got to reading..I told them to sign me up rite then..Holy Moly!! 1000s of stoners who loved to grow mj just like me.There was Wallyduck,who had this funky three leaf mj called Ducks foot,Another crazy old man on a mountain growing some Just crazy bubble gum.Lol at that time I believe he was at 30 plus yrs..Total Master at his game.And so many more more.I must say wen I went back into the swamp after that first visit to OG I was in COMPLETE awww..I looked at my lil swamp and the KILLER weed {I thought} it grew a whole lot different..

First attempt was 1977. Didn't know a male from a female. Never got beyond a seedling before it was ripped. Same for 1978, though they were 5 feet tall, and I at least knew to cull the males. Finally got the first female to harvest in 1979. Except for the occasional ripper, I've managed at least one plant every season since, even when living in apartments and when I went indoors it was practically a religious experience.

Fall of '83 finally read the Marijuana Growers Bible (IIRC) and figured out a lot more. Been growin ever since.

Somewhere around 2000 (in FL too), it was fun for me and my friends to try germing bagseed and before I knew it I had a bunch of pups that I took up to my school to sell (I got paid before I could even grow : ), it was crazy sitting in the back of my friends car with 15+ plants. I didn't know only the females were worth anything but a friend that traded me a $15 bag for one grew a fem out and it looked like a nice stretchy grapefruit Indica!

My first official crop was in 2002. Managed to get some BOG seeds somehow
I'm pretty sure it was BoggleGum (?). It was super stoney, tasted great and grew all summer by a river.

72, i grew 6 columbiam red bud seeds,2 males[i had never seen a male before] 3 females, in a very shaded spot they got about 5-6 feet tall, befor getting riped off.
