What would you recommend??

I want to start my indoor grow soon and would like some input as to what you guys would do with the space and materials I have to maximize output...

I would like to keep the flower room in my closet if possible. My closet has these dimensions(this if just for my flowering room)...

Height- 6.5ft(1.8m), Width- 6.5ft(1.8m), Depth- 20in(50cm)

There is also a small storage area above the closet with the dimensions...

Height- 20in(50cm), Width- 6.5(1.8m), Depth- 20in(50cm)

Here is the grow equipment I have...

LIGHTS
2 X 1000watt HPS
3 X 150watt HPS

400CFM EXHAUST FAN

I also have buckets, totes, tubing, water pumps, etc... basically everything needed for either hydro or soil...

So what do you think? Can I use the space with those lights? Will it be overkill?

not a chance you'll get to use all that fire power. to much wattage

doubt you'll be able to use either 1000watt, use your 150's and see if you can keep your temps down

I prefer organic soil, easier to work with, all you need to do is water, my yeilds are the same as using fertilizers...

The standard recommendation for MJ is 50 w/sq ft. Running all 3 of the 150 watters only gives you around 40 w/sq ft. (assuming your dimensions are 6.5' x 1.67') I'd go with 1 of the 1000 watters for around 90 w/sq ft. Much easier to cool 1 bulb instead of 3 also. And I'm running 100 w/sq ft so it can definitely be done.

Good ventilation is key to keeping your temps under control. And keep a fan running at all times to help avoid hot spots.

Horizontally, a couple of 400's or 250's would probably fit your closet's width and depth better.

Is growing vertical an option? There's not a whole lot of depth to the closet to take full advantage of a 1K light, but would probably work better than horizontal, I would think.

Horizontally, the 150's would work better in a smaller footprint (roughly 1.25m x .5m), but not really enough to go the full width without supplemental lighting (mixing spectrums is a plus here!). But, if you go vertical with the 150's, you have plenty of height to string all three together, if you want.
