Sorry it's a repost but it occured to me after posting that this is more up your guys' alley.

Ok folks,
Here's the problem:
I am an organic/soil grower. However, I was talked into trying chem hydro and I did but have since abandoned it. I have gone back to my soil growing but the problem is this. During that time I started using TriFlex and had nothing but problems. I have 4 seedlings that are between 4-5" tall at 5th week from seeds. This is the worst looking one. I got rid of the TriFlex but what should I do for my seedlings? I suspect PH is the problem and then caused lockouts in other areas. I have never had to deal with PH problems before until trying this. Tap PH is 8.4 (very high, I know - never had an issue before)

My question is:
1) Is PH/lockout the problem?
2) What would be the best action to take; repot into new unchemed soil or try to flush and adjust?

I know what I would do but wanna hear outside opinions.

Thanks for any help,
J.

I would rinse all that soil off and get her into a DWC.... nice 78 degree water with some thrive alive.... keep the atmosphere nice and humid.... or rinse it out..... :badday:

What's your soil mix recipe?
Maybe you should try something other than TriFlex.
I can supply some recipes if you'd like them.

The seedlings were originally in straight Happy Frog but this is my mix:

FF Ocean Forest
Happy Frog
MG Organic Plus
well composted peat (moss all over it, good indicator)
sand
chunky
perlite
acrillite
vermiculite
hygromite
crushed silica
lava rock
chunky orchid mix (bark, chunky perlite, chunky charcoal)
Rare Earth
P.O.M. Fruit N' Flower
Marine Cuisine

I decided to transplant them, afterall I am organic and the salt left behind just hinders me from here on out. A couple hours after transplant, they had already grown an inch. I know with precision because they are under cfls and every inch of distance between apicals and bulb is accounted for. I just hope they recover without too much undue stress; I think they will.
