If the cooling unit works, you can put it on another simple thermostat, for keeping room in the 70-80F range. It should already be well sealed and insulated. Add CO2. Good luck. granger

the only major issue will be moisture... for practically every drop you put in, you have to pull out. cant skimp on the dehumidifier, which also means more ac... if you do not want air exchange and to keep it sealed. cool room, definitely change out the ac... but its easy for us to spend ur money ;-)

Seems to me that, if that cooling unit works, it may be overkill, but you can work with it. Can't you set the thermostat to its highest setting and plug it into another thermostat that will keep it 70-80F? -granger

Inside the room there will be a strong smell, but it should not leave the room except when door is open. If you want no odor when you open the door, get a tent. Intake to the tent from the room, and exhaust the tent into the room thru a carbon filter. Only smell will be when you open the tent. Or you can build a tent like chamber, set up the same way. -granger
