I can't say any of those choices represent me completely. I do have the Tor bundle but I rarely use it. I currently borrow internet services from someone in my community (thanks, whoever you are.) I get about five decent connection signals and I switch back and forth frequently. Sometimes I use Anonymouse.org and sometimes I don't. It all depends, really. At the moment I'm not running a grow (though I hopefully plan to do so sometime in the future.) My alias for this website is generic and isn't linkable to other forum accounts, screen names, etc. Sometimes I get worried but I just hope for the best.

god bless college towns, no one here had internet secuerity so i have access to plenty of networks just by walking abound the house, i alternate between 5 or so depending on what im doing, downloading music, porn ect.

First off, I feel that if you act as if you have something to hide, you attract people who "look". Just like the neighborhood gossip, if you act as if you have something to hide, they WILL find it.

Secondly, I do have a reasonable expectation of privacy. I know, I know, I've read all about the NSA backdoors, and ISP wiretaps, and all of that. However, the laws of this country (US for those wondering) still do protect me from those prying eyes, even if thier actions do not. What I mean by this is that sure some LEO could find a couple posts where I may have admitted doing some things that are considered illegal. However, it is very expensive, and very time consuming to link that information directly to me, and move forward with an investigation from there. A post on an internet mesg board (without server log access) is near impossible to trace to a single location, without ISP intervention. Since there is no server log access, they have no idea which ISP to supeona (or just ask nicely whichever method is quicker). Now this ignores backbone level tapping and trapping. Since their truely is no defense that I or anyone else can take in this regard, I place my hope in being a very small fish in a very large ocean to protect me.

I'm not advocating this stance to anyone, however I do recommend that those who do take active steps to try to insure their security to not be suckered in too deep and thinking they are safe. Thereby in turn doing something stupid that does end up catching them.

I use www.veralinx.com -- their software is called IPUndercover, it uses the OpenVPN protocol. They have software that is pretty much idiot-proof for Windows, and there is open-source software for Macs called Tunnelblix (I can provide a guide for anyone that is interested in using it with a Max).
