what to do with weed that's gone 'off'

In the Uk there seems to be habit of selling wet weed for profit. i got some stuff that smells crap and has lost it's cannabis smell. it's quite damp but there are no physical signs of actualy mold and the colour remains green. any tips for improving it in any way? or is it just a lost cause?

sounds like the dealer was tying to build the bag, as in the weed was probably dry weak looking and he tried to rehydrate without knowing what he was doing. if it looks ok and doesnt give off a moldy smell i would let it dry and smoke it. if you think its a lost cause you can make some cannabutter or to test it pop a little in the oven at a low temp until its dry and toke up to see if its any good. hope this helps peace.

Well it certainly doesn't smell nice. It's got bit of a hay like stale smell mixed with some other peculiar odour which i'm hoping is just the strain. The colour is slightly darker than usual but not rotten looking(i know from experience) slightly yellowy off green kinda.
You see i've got two chocies, either the fantastic 'glass weed' circulating the place which i refuse to smoke even tho it's good weed thats being tainted(such a shame)or this damp shit. I'm not prepared to be sober for 2 months till my mate harvests. it's a joke. Can't wait to get my own place. cheers anyway

good luck with that man. just smoke a little see how it is. ive had weed smell like puke and be fucking bomb so you cant always tell by the bag appeal you know?

just smoked some. not smoking any more. might sieve it for crystals but there's something definitely dodgy with it. i suspect it's been sprayed with something or other because i can't imagine a strain being bred to smell like this and my chest doesn't feel great. glad i only picked up 8th plus it was off some dude i don't normally pick up of and now it's never. thanks for your advice*goes on hunt for new dealer*

i know what u mean mate, i have had various bags lately which are either sandy/glass or the wet stuff. the stuff i got reciently was damp and had a weird smell but it smoked fine. i refuse the sandy bud now awell. why do they choose the uk
