Hello everyone, got something a little weird going on, I have never had it happen to me before.
I put these 3 White Lavender cuttings outside on April 14th, which is the same time of year I put cuttings outside every year. I live in Bakersfield, CA and we are getting plenty of sun.
Strange thing is that 2 of the plants started to flower, but one did not; these 3 cuttings came off the same plant. Now I have started to put the 2 flowering plants under 40 watts of florescent light once they do not have direct sunlight to try to prevent them from continuing to flower, effectively giving them a 24/0 light cycle at the moment.
Some pics of the flowers that started to pop out:
I did however notice that now the 2 plants that are beginning to flower have started to grow lower branches that have no flowers on them.
Here are all of them together, the one on the left is the cutting that never showed any flowers.
Anyways, I'm at a loss here about what to do with the other 2 plants.
Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Thank you all very much and have a lovely day!
