Well there's a couple of different things you can do with that trim. Depending on how much trim you have you can make some hash oil. Even though making cana butter is easier, but considering you said there was mold on there I wouldn't mess with it when it comes to something your going to be eating. When you make cana butter you simmer the the butter mixed with the trim for about an hour at low levels of heat it's that same low level of heat that concerns me with mold being involved you can't really crank up the heat either because you'll ruin the trim. Making hash oil or "Goo" isn't all that bad it may seem dangerous because of the mount of butane needed, but that's a whole other ball of wax.

The large fan leaves that i have after harvest get put in a blender with water till mush then poured onto plants in the back yard, and any bud leaves try and turn them into hash if they have some trichomes on

Make butter.

Grind the dry leaves in a coffee grinder. Boil water, reduce to simmer, add butter, once its melted, add grinded leaves. Simmer for a couple hours.

Pour butter/water/leaf mixture through cheese cloth to remove plant matter. Take remaining liquid and put it in the fridge for 24 hours. By then the green pot butter will be separated from the water. Take the chunk of butter and put in a separate container and you're done.

Now make some brownies, cookies, top off noodles with the butter... whatever's clever.

Butter should have a green color to it. I would test it on a cracker or toast to determine its strength.

If they got Trich's on them keep'em and process it for sure , if it doesn't have any trich's I say toss'em. Ive tried making stuff out of fan leaves but if there's no trich's it's not really gonna get you high. No trich's= nothing to process.

and be prepared for the butter to taste NASTY!.. maybe it is just me.. I find that repeating the butter/water. boiling, cooling a couple of times takes out a lot of the nasty taste/odor maybe I am doing something wrong for it to taste so bad..
