What to do in Florida ?

so im going on holidays in a few weeks to Orlando for 5 nights. i have never been before so can any one help out with things for us to do.

we want to go to Disney land, any recommendations what parks have the best roller coasters etc?

wed like to go on a trip to the everglades?

any help would be great.

If you want coasters go to universal studios, not disney.
The only decent coaster at Disney is Aerosmith rocking Rollercoaster at MGM.
Also go to Boma's restaurant at the animal kingdom lodge for dinner.Its a buffet, but the African spices are awesome, especially on their ribs & Prime Rib.Its an upscale buffet dinner.

get used of traffic and standing in line...the race cars and the waterpark are fun tho ..esp when stoned...ditch the family .go to flamingo (everglades} and go fishing..

for roller coasters I'd go to Busch Gardens...

Disney World is pretty cool, you can visit Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center and MGM and won't be bored, many cool things to keep oneself entertained.

the everglades are cool, loved them, lived right in them many moons ago. if it is raining and/or lighting they are amazing

had many great drunk times at busch gardens... everglades had the most mosquitos I have ever seen .. the swarms get thick enough to block the sun a bit lol...timing is key there...

i was in disney in LA it was pretty cool. didnt get to go on any big coasters so i want to this time. the wife is a big child well we both are so wel do all the fantasy shit and harry potter world

whats it like traveling around orlando, rent a car? taxis? public transport?

ye id love to see some crocs in the everglades. getting drunk anywhere sounds like fun

i love going to america, as mush as you guys give out about it pretty cool place.

rent a car... I used to party in Orlando in the early 90s...wouldn't want to live there but fun to visit..my buddy lived there...the water park and the scaled down race cars were fun...I was doing coke back then too...mad fun times ...public trans will make you crazy ,taking cabs will make you broke.. you can find great deals on rental cars if you look.. my buddy used to work at a rental place and get us great deals...I prefer south florida...

just saw this on the net about Disney but applies to any park.

get there early/first in the morning, hit the best rides first.

renting a car is the best option, you can go to parks some days and go to the everglades some other... the place is flooded with theme parks, not just Disney's parks.

but, depending where you are staying, many hotels offer bus services direct from the hotel to the parks and back.

public transportation is lacking, at least it was virtually non-existent in that area last time I was there (1999). and if you are not staying in a Disney hotel, a taxi ride would be too expensive from a hotel outside Disney World itself, making renting a car a better option. if you are in a Disney hotel you'd not need a taxi anyway...

good time of year to go to the glades IMHO...its way less buggy this time of year... I remember hitchhiking through there once in mid summer...couldn't keep my thumb out as I was too busy swatting mosquitos lol... I been in a lot of swampy areas and the glades got em all beat bug wise....very magical place at times...have fun

im sure we will have jet lag so getting up nice and early is not a problem. were little ocd about getting to places very early

ye renting a car now seems to be the best idea. last time i drove in america i totally stressed myself out lol.

went with a friend that had crutches and a cast..we got fast tracked to front of line a few times...lol...fake cast and crutches ????.... no seeds I know of there...legally for you...lots of good weed around this time of year....Christmas bud should be around and good redhair...having a gps unit there simplifies things a lot..its spread out and confusing..i was always stoned and that never helped any....stoned trout got laptop gps that you can talk to\talks to you...17.5 screen ...delorme rules.... you should consider gps.. it will save gas and confusion..well worth it esp on vacation in unfamiliar area with a lot of old bad drivers/tourists around...you will need to watch other drivers and watching signs at same time can be confusing...find rental with gps or buy one...your cell phone might have an app for it...??????

ye its never difficult to score a bit of green, i thought with the laws changing that seeds would be freely available. tons of seeds available where i live but nice to get some thing over there.

ye when im high i have no sense of direction gps would be essential. ill have no internet or phone use, way to expensive. hire one of the rental company. i made it from san fran to Las vegas stressed but we got there.

san fran to vegas is easy compared...lol...the reason even I rented was because in my ride I almost got into too many accidents in Orlando..fully insured rental was the way to go ...you will soon learn too...old folks some with altziemers/lost tourists/bad/ drunk drivers...oooh so many ......lol...fully insured rental===stress free and you can drive it like you stole it.....yeehaw..full of snowbirds and Canadians too...florida will never be like cali,washington,colorada weed wise...I don't miss florida much..from miami area down is where I liked best..

my friend was there two weeks ago, big smoker and he freaked out after a joint nearly had a panic attack. way stronger then any weed in amsterdam. not sure what it was but sounds interesting. selling seeds there to.

he said the smell of herb drafting over the mountains while he went down a zip line was unreal. according to the guide across the mountain are fields of it. cheap weed cheap hash.

i wonder is there any hassle bringing some back on the cruise ship
