What the hells' goin on in Florida?

Ill live in the state of Florida and for the last several months or so there have been some decent size grow opp busts. These busts are happening almost daily, i shit you not, almost evryday on the news is another bust. Of coarse the news really doesnt tell you HOW they got busted.
Law inforcement is a real threat in this state and if anybody here at icmag is a Florida grower then we need to somehow find out what tactics the law is using to sniff us out. I dont fear the cocksuckers and i refuse to stop growing, i even have an attorney on retainer just incase i get the knock on the door, but id like to beat 'em at there own game.
Im sure they have there usual tactics, high electric usage, smell, snitches, etc, but these busts are too frequent and i fear they are using a tactic we dont know about. Anyone wanna throw in there 2 cents?
This is serious shit down here, and they hand out prison time like it aint shit and we need to figure out what the fuck these pigs are up to. Something tells me they are skirting certain laws and using other means (like homeland security) to gather info.
Anyway, anyone wanna chime in please do so, we need to help eachother, its the only way we can survive

Every time I read an article about a Florida bust, it's always having something to do with 'concerned neighbors' turning people in. Is it just that in Florida you have a bunch of retirees who still believe what they saw in ReEfEr MaDnEsS?

Easier said than done. FL's a frickin' black hole of sorts---once you're in, you'll probably never be able to afford to get out.
You just have to keep your grows small & simple---low watts, small spaces. An out of sight, out of mind deal. Not houses decked to the nines for mega-grows.

Everybody welcome to the 305 where mostly every neigborhood has at least a dozen grow shows and you ask why is everyone getting busted one answer only Snitches bitches.

Its like this the big boys who run these shows around her are cubans.

So what happens is these guy have a goup of guys who grow. But it is that most of the growers are not in the house's it is someone's relative they come from cuba have noway of making money so someone that is established puts them down.

Now what happens next is where everything gets fucked up. One guy calls his buddy who connect the electricity and calls another guy to do the construction of the place usaually it is more than two rooms some times the whole house.

Now the guy that is living in the house get greedy and try to start his own opt and his shit catches fire to the whole house and he gets busted.

Now the guy who have been doing it for awhile get bagged because they have too many guy working and not enough money to go around. So one guy is getting paied while everyone else is getting buy. So that is where death before dishonor is kicked out of the window. And these peace of shit start to drop dimes man I seen the new and the guy who started this thread is right

I hear you on this, but I could understand if Floridians want to know if they have any extra precautions they have to take. I would like to see many people on here with successful grows, I would not like to have to read thread through thread of arrest stories. If you're a LEO and you actually go through these pages, scanning for people to bust, then I sure as hell expect that you as an intelligent human being, would begin to understand that we aren't a bunch of unruly, psychotic criminals.


I hate this war on drugs. YES, get that bad shit like meth and cocaine out of my fucking country. You can go ahead and obliterate heroine and crack. Even put up laws against hallucinogens. Marijuana? Well why don't we just go on and decriminalize it for now, when we take care of the hard drugs first, then we can reconsider as a country, how we feel about the issue.

A more gruesome way to see it is we should just let Natural Selection take its course and let people destroy themselves if they want. Competition in this country would become a lot more interesting if more of your adversaries spontaneously succumbed to random hard drug addictions, where as you sit there, puffing gently on a joint, tugging smoothly through a bong, consuming from fresh brownies, and not dying from any of it. There is a witty saying out there, "If you have to choose between two evils, pick the one you haven't tried before." And its a cute saying, but its not me, I'm fine just smoking pot, I don't even feel the need to drink much at all.

Its good if people know whats going on, because I sure as hell wouldn't want a bunch of these guys staring me in the face on some monday morning if I was a Florida native.

Also, to the guy who posted this thread - do you have links of these florida news stories? Do they report it in depth so far as to list the wattage of the equipment? Or size of the grow? I can't imagine many smaller 250 watt growers would get severely punished, just the guys trying to go big with it.

its lately been the rings that are getting busted not single growers

and of the last 4 large busts they were all rings

the last one was 20 houses in one day 4 million in product and 28 people in jail

i *cough* watched one get taken down from across the street

the last one was a ring from jersey that had all moved down here

One of our long-time family friends is 1st-gen Cuban-American. He loves his pot, but doesn't grow, and certainly doesn't steal anything. He's "retired" (in his 60's) but earned every penny he has (still does with his own little biz)...
In all fairness, the older generations seem to be the honest, hard-working generations, no matter the ethnicity.

I would have to agree with you there Niki. I work with many Cubans and the older generation seems to have way more sense than the newer generation. I guess it is the greed they are taught here in America. Sad but true.

yeah I dont think he said he was stupid because he was cuban. We seen the same all over. usually its a fire because the kit is dangerous or they have bypassed the meter or a snitch.

they have helicopter shots of the "house fire" and you can see it was a grow from the way it burned.
