ok, i got clones from a good budy of nl x lumbre and hawiian punch.

mine were fine, his were fine, and so a friend asked if i could get any more. i did, sold him the same ones directly from my buddy from the same momma's but his popped seeds!!!! not only did they pop seeds but he cannot find a male flower on any of em!!!!

he paid good money for these genetics and claims he didnt stress em out any. he has been using tigerbloom and teas for nutes in ocean forest soil.

man, any opinions to get this shit solved would be greatly appreciated.

there are SOOOOO many factors that it's impossible to say....your buddy SAYS he didn't stress them....but how do you know...if the clone you took from him was from the same mother you and your other friend used, and you both had no problems....than common sense tells us, that your friend with the males, did something to stress the plant....my 02 cents...

my opinion is he had loose pollen, he had a grow that hermied 1 year ago in the space he is using now....could it be loose pollen?? thats the only thing i think it can be.....

Pollen stays fresh usually only for a few months, aparently is it possible for it to last much longer...

Its true, there are so many variables that could have caused this, most likely due to the situation his grow room was contaminated by a male neer by... Its always possible, even if this male is over 1/2 mile away!!

yeah i messaged the original breeder and he said either theres a male around somewhere or a stress factor. he even invited me back over to see the current state of his gals of the same strain. no need as i know he doesnt bullshit, nor does he grow bullshit.

id think i agree with the latter. i didnt have hermies, nor did my mate the original breeder, or his buddies that have the same genes....and the genes are great, finished in a whopping 7 weeks.....coulda gone 8.

oh motherfucking well. i dont have control over how others grow their shit, i just know that mine do fine and is always DA KIND!!!!!! no more middlmanning genetics for me(feel sorry for the seed dealers having to deal with such complaints hehe)hate having to fuck with this type of noise.

well we both know those are solid genetics.
after all i think you even stressed yours a little didn't you? no ill effects?

when i first sexed those, i gave the female clones to a friend, and he grew them out no prob. that was 6 months ago.

since then, he has grown 2 more sets out from same moms.
i have finished 2 sets with no prob, you have one set that you know came from the same time and batch with no probs.

errant pollen, or he stressed them, as in not light tight or something,
and missed a banana that popped and dried up somewhere.

originally this was just going to be me sharing clones with you, ya wheela deala mon, lol. got no control over them afterwards ya know bro?

yeah man those genes were fine in my grow, even stessed em out with underwatering em several times because im a lazy bastard, with no ill effect. cut em at 7 and everyone liked the final product.

anyway, hope to be in town next week. we shall roast many!!!!!!

you really should have let them go longer.

i know they look good and frosty at 7 weeks, but a few more weeks would put some weight on. my original quotes on finishing time were based on the first clones my bud grew under a 600 watt hps in a very small space. and were still longer than 7 weeks.

under my 2, 400 watters (hps and mh) they both are going 10 weeks or so for optimum yield and maturation of bud.

btw, pollen is usually only viable for a couple weeks or less under normal room temp and humidity conditions. so it's not from his grow a year ago, lol.
it's possible to freeze pollen and make it last for quite a while IF you do it right. but we are talking under previously stated conditions.

My money is on a Light Leak during darkness. A light leak can cause some Hermaphrodism. So my bet is Light Leak. Anyone else? I say no more good genetics to the friend till he knows how to complete a succesful grow.
