WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIZZLE

I have no idea what this brownish white stuff growing on the top of the soil medium right next to the stems. Any ideas??????????????

kinda hard to tell from the pics but it looks like some kinda mold...do you have lots of fresh air circulating? during my first grow i had simlar probs and it was due to not enough fresh air....

Did you make those clones yourself or buy them? Are you sure the "stuff" is growing? Sometimes, when I get a little sloppy with the rooting hormone powder, the clones come out looking like that.

it's most likely minerals and stuff left behind after being evaporated. happens all the time when I use tap water.

Dont know if it was the same stuff but that first pic came down with a bad case of powdery mildew all over the clone so I chucked it thanks anyway guys
