So I type in og kush in the search button and I get sorry no matches. Fucked.

try 'oger' or kush initially; I know there's lots of info on this, you just have to find the right train.

I find it works rather well if you use advanced search and search for Title only if you're looking for something very specific.. appending icmag to any other term on google works as well for some results

actually it's slightly more complex but very easy to remember, add this ( without the ' on each side ) after your search 'site:icmag.com/ic' it's much easier to navigate than on this forum software.
