What strain can cope 80% humidity?

What strain can cope 80% humidity?

I will be growing in very high humidity conditions. Obviously this will be beneficial for Veg, but not so for Flowering. The set up will be in a garden shed. In the cold and wet, but wonderful England!

Alais! There are strain's that i see from Ace that originate from humid regions. And some other Seed Banks that stock such varieties.

I presume those places to be ; Jamaica (and i'v visited the Blue Montains. Muito Linda!), Brazilian, Thailand, Highland races like Nepalese, Ethiopian, Afgannie, Lao, Panama, S.African. The list could go on and on etc etc etc..............

I will be hopefully ordering soon.

I have a fair bit of experience, growing in many set up's and systems ;
Coco, Pelite, Hydro, Soil, Bio blah blah blah

Your input would be most helpful!

Many Thanks

Peace 'n Regards Tc :joint:

Good day Thomas Cherry,

Our strains are sativa dominant strains and have been bred for good mold resistance. Bangi Haze, Congo, Tikal, Panama, Oldtimer's Haze, Nepalese Jam ... they all resist wet ambient, specially Bangi Haze and Oldtimer's Haze, they work real nice with humid conditions.

Are you growing indoors or outdoors? dubi

That's what i call service!

That's what i call service!

Easy there Dubi. Many thanks for such a quick reply mate.

Im in the London area of the UK. And i'm currently growing in the garden shed, and this is my fourth (but not overall) grow. But i have'nt grown outside in the shed during the winter period i.e. Late October - early March. Although i have grown indoors through out the year.

The RH today was 90-100%, temps were 80+. Last few days have been rather warm and mild, with little rain. You never know what the English weather is gona throw.

The shed will be free for the next grow in about 2-3 weeks. By this time the weather could go either way. British weather is the most talked about topic in the UK. We have experienced some real shitty weather so far this year. Last few weeks we've had heavy rain on-off.

I won't be vegging the plants for long, if at all. Maybe 5-10 days. And i'd prefer a fast flowering hybrid possibely Sat Dom, with a flowering period of no longer than 11 weeks. I'll be using HPS 250w-400w. Keeping the girls low, short (and probably LST'd).

I assume the Ace strain's i'd be advised are :

TIKAL

STRUCTURE: Sativa ramified and equilibrated in size
GENETICS: Guatemala sativa X Kush Haze.
75 % sativa/ 25 % indica
FLOWERING: 10 weeks

GUERRILLA

STRUCTURE: Columnar and strong plant of medium size.
GENETICS: Leshoto X Nepalese Kathmandu
100% Sativa
FLOWERING: 9 weeks

BANGI HAZE

STRUCTURE: Compact and columnar sativa, easy to work with it.
GENETICS: Congo X Nepalese.
Stabilized hybrid.
FLOWERING: 9-10 weeks

ORIENT EXPRESS
STRUCTURE: Compact structure with good branching
GENETICS: Vietnam Black X China Yunnan.
60% sativa 40% indica.
FLOWERING: 9 weeks

NEPALESE JAM
STRUCTURE: small- medium size. Columnar growing. Ideal for small grows.
GENETICS: Nepalese X Jamaica ’85.
100% Sativa
FLOWERING: ??-?? weeks
(WHAT IS THE FLOWERING TIME ON NEPALESE JAM?)
Flowering Time : 9 - 10 weeks
As stated on seedboutique

The Old Timer's Haze you mentioned way well be too varied and too long a flowering period.

I'd need the most mold-resistant strain, with non-compact airy buds.

It seems almost impossible which to choice to make! Maybe 2 strains..

I seen a few grows on icmag of some fantastic Ace genetic's. Especially (the high yeilders) ORIENT EXPRESS, and NEPALESE JAM (as well as a cross of the two, from a UK grower).

Many many thanks. And have a super weekend!

Peace Tc :canabis:

Bangi Haze works well here in the north of Spain (43ºN)...a rainy place indeed :D
Go for it!!

Yo Raco. Easy man. Boy, do i wish i live in spain. But in Spain the rains fall on the plains. Where as here it falls everywhere.

I'll be probably germing first week October. And flowering through to the end of Decembro - begining of Janiero

Whatever

I picked up some of those Bangi Haze awhile back and gave em away to a friend...always looked AWESOME and have heard nothing but great things. I still have some ACE Nepalese Jam and Congo's in the jar...for someday soon hopefully. Think I'll pick up another pack of the Bangi's as I wasn't aware of their resistance to such extreme conditions.

Orient Express has a chinese indica father, being more indica influenced i wouldnt recommend her for a very high humid indoor grow.

Nepalese Jam and Bangi Haze would be great choices, they can flower with 90-100 % humid rates without mold, anyway improving fan and air extraction
maybe you can decrease humid rate, maybe in not all the room but at least close the plants and the light.

Excellent to know that about the Jams and will probably go with those outside next year without worries. They're the top of my list to work with outdoors where I'm at.

That is great. Many thanks dubi mate! I'd really love to try improving my growing enviroment (money shortage), but first i'll need a champion to stand up to the elements of the British weather. If i had a larger grow space, i'd have no issues at all.

The RH was as low as 40% on Monday, so that is acceptable. But we on this wee island are sometimes faced with issues of mold and meldew in generall.

Looks like my Double Gum and C99 went unscathed. Bonus! But the G13 X MTF has gone to pot (that ain't no pun), more than a quarter, maybe half will be tossed. That could tally up to be over 3 Oz. BOLLOCKS!!!!!!!!

Even my Tomatoe plants went to rot this year. And they are in the back yard. Out of 100+ tomatoe's i'v picked, 80% was lost to Fungus and his slimmy fu*^±ng pals'.

So then out of Nepalese Jam and Bangi Haze it is. What a choice i have to make. This certainly is'nt gona be easy. Do i do a pack of each, or 2 of a kind.

The Nep Jam is really calling me. But i really like variety, and variety is the spice of life.

What do i do?????? decisions, decisions.

Nepalese Jam or Bangi Haze??????

W

Whatever

Nepalese Jam gets my vote! I gave away my Bangi's to a friend but held back the Jams for me. Don't think you could go wrong with either though. I kept the Jams cause I wanna run em outside where I'm at and think it'll be a great cross to work with creating some beans/strain that will be primo for the cold early weather and possible crappy rains that sometimes hit around harvest time here. I'm hoping to find a nice Jamaican leaning fem in the mix...and I'll also take a Jamaican dad and go a different route.

I've heard nothing but great things about Bangi Haze though. Take a look at some smoke reports to see what you might prefer.

Top Service!

Top Service!

Seed Boutique are the guv'nors of the seed distributers. I made an order to SB Thursday Am, and received my order the following Saturday morning. So i got my seeds within 48 hours of SB confirming my order.

If i ever meet GN, i got something for him (if your out there Gypsy). Time and time again my treated like a customer. This has got to of been my 8-10th order with them guy's. Never a complaint from I!!!

So i got both the Bangi Haze, and Nep Jam... I also placed an order for Strawberry Haze from Greenhouse seeds. Got the present freebie too, of 5 'Sam the Skunkman's' Original Haze X Skunk 1.

So in the very near future i'll have all four of the above going, hopefully this time next week! :jump:

Peace Tc
